    No you can't
Good morning Mighty and snails. :)

Hey Mighty, I tried to look up the Hebrew meaning of daval, it was quite confusing.
Not really, we've been taught to read in Greek and English. It's my opinion that Hebrew is descriptive and gives a clearer understanding once understood.

    Google brings -up.

The Hebrew word "davar" (דבר) primarily means "word" or "speech" and is derived from the root verb "dabar," which signifies to speak, declare, command, or promise. It is used to convey both spoken communication and divine revelation, as seen in phrases like "Yahweh spoke to Moses". Beyond its literal meaning, "davar" can also refer to a "thing" or "matter," reflecting a philosophical concept in Hebrew thought where words hold the same substance as tangible objects. This dual meaning underscores the idea that words are not merely sounds but carry inherent power and order, aligning with the concept of "logos" in Greek philosophy. The term is also associated with "order" or "command," as seen in the Hebrew designation for the Ten Commandments as "the ten orders" (aseret ha-devariym).
