Couple of hours ago had a TORRENTIAL thunder () storm. Walked over to another building to do some work and took my umbrella - no rain. Did some work, watched storm for a bit, finished up the work. Walked back here, with umbrella, with no rain

Philly, south jersey, Delaware. It huffed and puffed and really didn't do much. It's not even raining anymore. There could be a second round later today.--probably when I'm swimming laps or running.

that link is about a project asking internet users to use their computer to help send signals detailing the hydrogen atom and periodic table, etc. to a nearby red dwarf star system starting june 17th.
i won't be participating as it's almost absurd to believe there could be any life at all on the surface of a planet around a red dwarf much less for it to be intelligent enough to respond to us. i won't bore you with why that is. anyway, the signals eventually passing this system (in 17 years) means i suppose the project isn't completely dubious. i tried to sign up just to see what's going on but never got the email they stated they 'just' sent me (an hour ago), lol.

UGH sick of the cold rainy weather. We haven't got to 60 in the last three days.
fran, if you go outside and move around, new hampshire will warm up a tiny bit.
We are supposed to be getting storms here today as well...Power will go out, it goes out if someone even farts in the general direction of a power line around here.
