So, I'v been watching this video that Phil made about BDC Aspire clearomizers and I've been thinking.

Are those coils really configured in parallel? I watched Phil's video the other day and noticed that the manufacturer recommends 3-5 volts. If we're dealing with two 3.6Ω coils, the wattage on 3 volts would come to 2.5 watts--that's in unvapeable territory, IMO.

Phil was using them on 4.8 volts, which makes much more sense (6.4 watts), but still kinda lowish--and Phil likes his vapes hot.

Do you think that there is a possibility that those coils are configured in series rather than in parallel? They don't look like all the other dual coils I have dissected in the past...

The video is long, but if you go to 22 min or so you'll see him dissecting the atomizer head.
