I said that, didn't I??? But you should not be able to TASTE it. It's incidental. (And, as such... why even put it in there in the first place?... does it cause some kind of chemical reaction???)

Yes it does! On the tongue. That's why there's a small pinch of salt in things like soda pop, or most any food. You don't taste the salt, but the salt ions help carry the flavor to your taste buds.

P.S. Good morning. How's the leaves? :D

No damage. Bags of leaves right where they were last night. Just the extension ladder - which I was leaving out to finish gutters tomorrow or Wednesday - blew over and crashed down on the grill. At 03h00. So says husbear (I heard nothing). Fortunately it did not take out a window or screen on the way down. I do not see any "major" tree branches or limbs.

Now just awaiting the shuttle to take me back to the newly-striped car. Probably around 13h00. Indoor stuff today.

Yeah. That's a problem. You can have real issues with that. It's good that you check it.

I have a Weber. Not that I've never had gas grills, but...charcoal is good too...fewer problems, Weber lasts forever. I don't grill all that much anyway. But there's the possibility that cooking with propane is ...safer and more convenient. IDK. Probably one of those "debate wars". I know it's a preference "war".

Anyway...spiders don't last long in Webers.

Oh man.

You guys remember me talking about my cousin that I help drive around sometimes? (Wheelchair)

He moved to a retirement complex a bit ago. He just called. They have no power. Won't have power until Wednesday, supposedly.
He's on the 2nd floor. Elevator is not working. Supposedly.
I need to go give him a ride to my other cousin's place, and pack up his freezer/fridge into a cooler. Then help him slide down the stairs on his .....

It's NOT acceptable that they don't have emergency power (and a generator) for that elevator, IMHO.....
He needs a ground floor place....

Cleaning up after contractor’s mortar mess | Inman News

All DANGER--ACID wear protective stuff!

There's a note in the 1st link that says if it's on a porous surface, let it dry first...or you work in in deeper.

thanks, atty! must be my lucky day - it's coming off with pinesol ;) guess i gotta give the credit to my kolbe windows - wood inside and Extruded Aluminum Cladding on the outside. where the mortar is a little thicker my razor blade does the job ;)

morning, mr bear!

Probably around 13h00.

Good thing I said "probably".

My Dad - who did collision work and auto painting for his living - said it should take 15-20 minutes to put on the stripes. In other words: I should have been able to sit in the waiting area with a free cup of coffee and leafed through a "Martha Stewart's Living" magazine while the work was done.
