I ran out through the garage to the front... with some burlap in hand... and managed to cover it just before he opened the front door.
Mind you... he was OUT OF THE HOUSE from 09h00 until about 16h00... but they delivered after 19h00. In the dark.
...and yes, it was the 26-pounder (although it did not feel like 26 pounds... probably the adrenaline and fury).
being at the end of the ups route i routinely get packages between 5 and 7pm - during december my driver might run as late as 9pm which means i have to make my way back downstairs!
PS: That burlap is SUPPOSED to be swaddling the youngish upright yews along the front walk. Guess I'm not done with outdoor stuff yet.
My package is "out for delivery"....(FedEx)
