just lost power for an hourone of the branch lines was down and couldn't be repaired safely unless we were taken off the grid .... sigh

Glad you have your power back,Tib. I cleaned a little path down the deck to where it's covered (roof) in case hubby has to get to the generator. No inside access to the cellar so I cleaned a little path to the cellar door cause hubby wants to light the heater we have down there for the extreme cold tonight. It is bitter cold out.

Wow, raising one's own kid's would have been enough. Four grandkids are quite a handful. Glad Joan is willing to take them on, sorry she needs to.
I have enough after visiting my nephews for a couple of days. No way I'd have successfully raised any of my own 
i never had much. I love my nephews, but I don't have enough energy for the youngest ones. 
i know i couldn't survive - the one and only boy took all i had!
amazing though that people are allowed to procreate without limits and no consideration given to what will happen to those babies once here ..........
