Hi jj. Glad your work on the house is getting done.

Here it seems if we don't have bad luck we have none at all. Our gas heater is running in the cellar to protect our pipes and the house is toasty warm with the wood stove but we still have no running furnace. Our old furnace was easy to work on but these brand new ones are computer controlled and it seems the computer won't tell it to run. This will be resolved tomorrow one way or the other.
Bummer. at least you have a wood stove.
We put up plastic over twenty something windows to try to keep the heat in since most of the windows in this house are single paned. Hopefully we can start replacing them this year.

hiya, jj! happy new year to you and wolfie ;)

fingers crossed for frannie! shame on you, pepper! carto tanks won't run a furnace!

I can't win. I was expressing my sympathies that fran's furnace wasn't working, and then a little encouragement by pointing out that she had some new carto tanks on the way. I was just being nice.

    Good morning y'all

    Knock knock.... anyone home?

    ((JJr!!!))

Hopefully I can get a new laptop sometime soon, then I won't be tethered to the wall anymore.

We have gotten a lot done in the house since we don't have even one fully functioning computer in the house.

well, teaching at 9 is better than teaching at 8, which i'll have to do later this spring. At least I don't run a semester long class this spring. An assorted lecture or 4, a 5-week class, and the 2-week dauphin island spring course (assuming we have enough students sign up this spring) . Trying to get papers finished and submitted....boring.
