It was me...in the context that teaching stuff takes a lot of effort and explaining and teachers should get the big bucks. And I wasn't kidding. Although they (well, many) DO get paid rather well. And have unions. And only work 9 months or so. But don't get me started.

And I hope you get a BIG raise!

it was someone else today too. Thanks (we all needs raises i think)

But, i work 12 months...when I'm not 'teaching', I'm writing, supervising students, doing my own experiments and hoping to get funding (unless i'm checking in on ECF ). I'm not tenure track, and have no union... sigh.

..but good teachers are sorely underpaid for what they have to do, and deal with.

Thank you Atty. I could have had all of this done but wanted to wait for a brother who was on vacation. But, with that said, he STILL couldn't bring himself to cut it ONE day short?? Sigh..........could have had it done yesterday. He is quite aware that I am not very happy with him. Not to mention that he will be wasting gas by going home from his vacation right by here then turning around and driving BACK tomorrow! How much sense does THAT make??? It's 2.5 hours driving time to come back!

Sigh............FINALLY got the obit in the paper and tomorrow will be my brothers service. I'll be glad when all of this is over. I just want him resting by Mom and Dad.

(and Norie, i have a small sense of what you do at work- you work hard and well, and since you know what you're doing you do other people's jobs too. you aren't valued nearly enough)
