Good morning :)

Yep, i survived the periodontist visit. After getting to work an 90 minutes early to get stuff done prior to my 11:30 appointment, they called and rescheduled me for 1pm. That was fine, i got more done, but i also ended up being late for the appointment, cause of a bunch of last minute stuff.

It was just an initial appointment. They want to do a little bone graft under one tooth and try to regrow the bone in that area so they can cap the tooth. The perio poked around the tooth and took a digital xray. The next step is waiting to see what insurance will cover.

then i went to let the dogs out ,went to job 2, went back to job 1 for a couple minutes, then met a friend for a beverage. Got home around 7 and looked up some info on what they want to do at the perio, and reviewed the material for class this morning.

I'm kinda glad that yesterday is over.

Right off the bat:

Error
The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.
Error message
PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1040] Too many connections in lock_may_be_available() (line 167 of /var/www/vhosts/nyexchange.www/public/includes/lock.inc).

So they are NOT READY for us. Why did they build a non-scalable system??? Nice. REALLY nice.

UNEXPECTED error. Ummmmm... it's OCTOBER 1, you freaking ......!!! When did they EXPECT us????

It's going to be a fine, fine day!!!!

This is what happens when you roll out to an entire country at once. Although it could be on "the state side" of the connection problem. Did you get some stuff and then BOOM? or did it blow up from moment 1?

Immediately.

State or federal... it's NOT EXCUSABLE. There is NO defense for it, Atty. None. And do not even try.

It's called SCALING. And pretty DAMN elementary in the world of website servers.

When you send out invitations to guests to attend a party you are hosting, it's really really bad form to not be home when your guests arrive... or to make them stand at your front door while you tidy up your home.
