Good morning Atty :)

Sounds like it was not a good evening for communications. ice? but aren't you in the warm front somewhere between Tibs and Fran?

I dropped my landline years ago, when i realized that the only "people" that ever called that number were telemarketers. My security system has a cell phone uplink, which is actually kind of nice :)

Temp is around 28 to 32 degrees right now. Hence ice storm with freezing rain last night. Sheet of ice. Fido will not be pleased. I've salted the front steps in hope he and I stay upright that far. But trudging through that is almost impossible for him right now. Poor dog. I help as best I can with a sling support. :(

P.S.
There she is!

yes, that's what I was talking about. That's why I still have a land line. But...some house 4G phone devices have a battery and also the supposedly powered land line is what is not working!!!! Grrrrrr. So it's no good if it doesn't work!
I tested it by using the jack on the side of the house, disconnecting the house and testing the line. Nope. (They buried a new line last time this happened and now it's "broken" somewhere else...probably 30 feet up a pole.)

Fran understands. I remember. She had fun with lines too. May have been DSL rather than phone, but still. Grrrr.

Well, Comcost got my phone now too....
X-Fer by end of year.
Grrrrr.
Verison was too expensive since I already have cable. They lock you into data plans and stuff I don't care about for phone. Keeping them for $15.00 per month "low budget low minute cell phone" (for emergency use) and going with comcost. :/

Don't know if I'll bother having the old line fixed.....
