GF coming over for "dinner" today...well, "Linner" because it's Sunday. IDK why that's the way it is, but that's the way it is. Linner. Probably due to old traditions when they had to hitch the horse up on "Sunday go to meeting day" and didn't have modern cooking methods. So everyone pigged out when they got home as soon as they could get it all together.

Anyway, gotta go prep for Linner. Later!

So, the breakfasts of the semi-feral cats across the street are now at risk from a couple of free-range dogs, one of whom has had puppies fairly recently. I either guard the kitties long enough that they can eat, or wait to bring out the food. and then i make sure that there's a bit of food for the free-range dogs (so they're less tempted to eat the kitties themselves). This is not going to end well

When it snows, it blizzards.

So I took down a Christmas decoration...last one....and the 3M sticky hook thing took paint off the wall with the 1st layer of paper from the drywall.

Now, that wouldn't be so bad...IF....IF....I hadn't left my drywall compound and putty knives at the GF's when I fixed the hallway that her kid smashed up. I fixed it but left the tools there so I could patch-again-if-needed-when painting. So she never let me paint it (too busy) and now...."the kid" cleaned the garage and threw a bunch of stuff out. Sigh.

So now, I probably have to buy more tools and compound. Grrrr. And her hall is still unpainted. Grrrr. And now I can't patch this new mess. Grrrrr.

He everyone :)

Been dealing with my daughters dog. He somehow got out of the gate and got hit by a car, his pelvis is broken on both sides. :( One completely and the other is a major fracture. Nothing they can do but let it heal on it's own. He is actually a very lucky dog and must have had an extra life, he only weighs 7lbs so it's a wonder he made it out alive! He is supposed to be on bed rest for 3 weeks.....LOL.....I asked my daughter if she told the vet how very active he is? We might need drugs to keep him inactive 8-o At least we have a crate we can keep him in.

Woke up to 3" of snow this morning, I didn't even realize it was supposed to snow....LOL
