lol. It comes and goes.
There's a lot of sharp wit there. And insta-jabs. It's "The Outside" after all. You have to have a thick skin.
I'll pop back in and sneak a peek and see what's going on. Now you have me all curious.
I've been laying low in that thread for a day-ish.

OK. I checked. It's about normal. Maybe a little hostile...lots of "troll" name calling. The guy was only joking. But....overall...it's more like an animated drunk pub discussion than a bar fight.

When they start serving all the beer in cans and remove the glasses...you'll know it's time to bail.

Thanks everyone. It was hubby's oldest widowed sister-in-law. She wasn't in the best of health but it was very fast after she took a fall a few days ago.

The scary part is that....

Even though I know he's wrong about that quote (I was there, and I wasn't thinking that)...he's scary in that you could almost think it true. Yet that's not what I was trying to say at all. It's rather insidious.

Sometimes they use little rubber "caps" rather than buttons...because "the switch" (button) is the tact switch, not the cover. Make sense?

The caps have...wings...around them.

Think of one of those rubber jar-gripper things...flat....but then with a "knob" the size/shape of the thing you want sticking up. Cut around the knob leaving a border around it. So it looks like a mini rubber "top hat" that's solid filled. Make sense?

Thought: I once tore apart an old remote control that had rubber buttons...with tact switches underneath...because I wanted the button for a project.

well, it's for a mod bap is designing - and i don't want to hear a word out of you! it'll use the dna30 with onboard switches but bj wants pretty buttons to go with it
