Thought my Vamo V2 was getting ready to bite the big one last evening. Kept getting "Lo" on the display (low ohms); but switching the Davide Mini to other PVs showed it wasn't the problem. Ended up being the 510-ego adapter; took the insulator out of one of the many Evod/ProTank heads lying around and popped it in the adapter - problem fixed. :D

Morning, snails!

Thx to Pepper, I'm now worried about fleas getting inside my splint...

Classy, if any of the multitude of pain pills I have could help, I'd send them right over. One of the recent prescriptions I received needed to be put in a container that's almost the size of a halfling soda can! 120 pills - seriously?!?!

Ok...that's it. You all are making these up! I've been watching TV since 1955 and I've never even heard of these shows.

Good job! I've been down to 6mg for about six months. I'll go down to 3mg next. When I hit zero...I'll still keep vaping though! :D

Good morning fellow slimies! :D

Blimey, slimie...there were sitcoms back then?

I've been vaping 0mg for the past couple of months and I don't see myself quitting vaping anytime soon, either!

 Yeah...we got our first TV in 1955. I started watching General hospital when it came out in...I think 1963. Still watching it! :D

Good morning, Snails !!! :)

Feel better soon, Classy lady !!!!!!!!!!

15k posts, goodbye j0ker thread. Oh well, it was on life support anyway.

Edit: I was wrong, the current j0ker thread has less than 6k posts, so it lives on, but still on life support.

Hi Meggers, it's nice to see new members posting in the Snail thread. Welcome to the Snails. :p

well carp. I need some sitcoms. even old, obscure ones, that were probably cancelled after one episode.

Just found out that someone I'd worked with intermittently but regularly over the past several years, and have known since i was a grad student, died of a massive heart attach last Friday. argh.

WTH. people need to stop doing that.

 That's why, when I read the obituaries, I like to see either people younger than me(cause I already passed that age)or WAAAAY older(this doesn't happen too often)than me. Yeah...I hate that when the person is your age or only a year or two older.

Thanks, Classy. Only a few people post in the j0ker thread nowadays and sporadically at best. I was going to request that it be closed, but the j0kers asked me not to do that. They want it to stay open, so it will be available to them, when they do want to post in it. I seriously doubt if it will ever hit 15k posts. Notsoogood was the glue that kept the j0kers together, but she prefers Facebook these days.

i haven't started reading the obits yet...but that time is closer. sigh.

So are you back at work Mad, or did you get a day or two of recuperation at home?

I had Monday off work, so I scheduled my surgery for then, and have taken Tues. and Wed. off to recover. Back to work tomorrow, though I'll have to take it easy.

Oh yeah, the battery powered band-aid thing - there's a tube connected to the back of the bandage which is hooked up to a small pager-sized device. The edges of the bandage are sealed by the adhesive and I think that device applies suction, so any drainage from the incision doesn't pool and fester. A bit overzealous if you ask me; I didn't have one for my 12" incision. But this last procedure was performed by a different surgeon, at a different hospital, under a different health care "company"...for which I'm very thankful. :thumb:
