It was an excellent price for 130 members, only. Now consider the time you have invested in that "excellence price," and it's no longer an "excellent price."--and you're still dealing with it and who knows for how long.
I purchased a 6" x 12" 500 mesh from Steam Monkey for $5.00. I went to the site and pushed a button and it was a my door step in 3 days--done. Considering how long that will last me at a nominal fee, it was an 'excellent price" and I took no risk. My time is more important to me than going thru the hassle of trying to save a couple bucks and still not knowing whether I'm going to get what I paid for.
Coops for the most part are a sham.--IMHO.

You could have but that's not your nature. My point is you could have ordered from a reputable vendor and been done with it weeks ago. And good deals aren't always good deals.

first one i ever participated in (besides the 3 i ran in pif) - to me, it's mostly a matter of warranty through vendors

I just can't consider snow as being pretty but I guess it is sometimes. I usually approximate snowfall by the side deck rail or the front deck flower boxes but the wind keeps blowing it away. The wind isn't a bad thing. It will keep some of it off the roofs.
