There's got to be another way. I'm sure you're back on the phone with Verizon, your favorite activity.
Have you thought about an iPad type of thing that can use cell signals? I heard Nexus 7 is pretty good, some can be used with regular keyboards.

i'm using cell signals - that's all the 'high speed' i can get around here

how so? verizon is the only one with so so 3g coverage - and anxious to get me off my unlimited plan.
Well, I wasn't thinking about costs, but as long as you have 3g, though not so good coverage, you can still get online. The telcoms are all trying to charge for usage now.

lol! jag - verizon will stop supporting my modem within a few days - there goes my connection! if i get a verizon modem from them there goes my plan!
getting one used to do my own exchange has backfired on me once already. i sent out a sos for a verizon mifi 2200 all over the place but no replies.

Heard from my daughter. Wake,funeral service and afterward gathering will be Thursday morning. The baby won't be buried til Spring. That really sucks. My granddaughter and her husband are moving cause they don't want to live where the baby died. Death ruled as SIDS.
