Silly Story of Sammy Snail*
It was a bright and sunny Spring day and Sammy Snail was sliding down the street (because, you know, snails don't exactly walk). He was humming a snail-y type of tune (Pretty sure that snails can't whistle.) All of a sudden, across the street, he spies Sally Snail sliding down the sidewalk. She's was looking mighty silky....
He spotted her and stubbed his single muscular foot on the sidewalk at the same time. Stupid sidewalks. But, thankfully, she didn't notice.
He turns toward her and waves an eye-stalk. "Hiya Sally!!!" .....
"Eye stalk".
Make me freaking puke!!!
............Silly Story of Sammy Snail (continued)
Sally didn't even notice him. She just kept sliding. Suddenly, Seymour Snail drives by in his "fancy" sports car. Sally perks up and waves "hi" to him (and smiles) as he rolls by. Sammy is sad. He says "I know, I'm tired of all this sliding. I'm going to "get modern" too and get some wheels.
(to be continued...again)
Whatever......
They have one foot....I thought it was a toe, but it's a foot. If you find differently, I shall amend the joke.
Porkchops... and applesauce.
ham and fried apples!
............Silly Story of Sammy Snail (continued yet again)
So sullen Sammy Snail slides on down to Sal's snail car emporium and, having cashed out his savings bonds at the local snail bank, selects a snazzy sports model. "I'll take it!" he said, and off the lot he rode.
Not to be outdone by Seymour, our snail Sam decides to go for the custom paint job. He heads to the local custom body shop and gets a custom set of racing stripes....complete with "SS" on the side of the car merged in with the strips...kinda curvy stripe "S"'s. "SS", of course, stands for "Sammy Snail". Or "Speedy Sammy". He also gets custom wheels and a horn that goes "A WhoooGa!" and then plays some snail music. Now, you may know that snail music is of too low a frequency for humans to hear and thus cannot be described to them. However, I assure you that, to a snail, it is really very cool.
(to be continued...again and again)
