We're doing the whole damn room so it will be awhile. We hope to have at least half the ceiling down tomorrow. Plus new windows of a different size which requires warmer weather.
Yup, that's a lot of work. The old ceiling in my kitchen was the 1'x1' tiles. I tore it down and had it replaced with sheet rock. My house is 60 years old and the old ceiling was starting to sag.
I live in a cape and the second floor is finished. A few years ago, I tore down the old ceiling up there and put up new tiles. It was a big job, but I'm glad I did it.
