Good Morning, Sorry to pop-in like this but I figured if I followed Fran, Tibs and CES I would find some answers! My favorite Cooking Forum is down but can usually get any questions answered here on ECF!
Any of you run into great deals on "Food Saver" rolls anywhere? Just ran out this morning freezing marinated Salmon. After reading a few posts here sounds like this question is not too OT.

Tibs, did not know CES can't cook!!! I thought since Fran has a deep freeze and you also seemed to live in a outlying area that you all may vacuum seal and freeze some food. Also looks like there are other 40 somethings posting in this sub-forum. You know it wouldn't do any good to ask Wiz and Hitt!

frannie might know - remember where i grew up > shopping in europe, at least at that time, was done on a daily basis and it's still in my blood! i've adjusted to planning about 3 days ahead but that's it! my freezer contains parrot feed!

Yeah, well these:
and a straw are 10x cheaper and 100x easier for most (but not all) applications. Just don't suck up raw meat juices.
If you really need a vacuum bagging refill, shop around the net for the best prices.

Oh, I know a thing or two about the shopping in Europe! I usually shop daily but like to freeze certain things.
I had bought a 6 roll package years ago and finally ran out, can't remember where I got it. I'll go by Sams club and Walmart this morning to look.

My freezer contains snus--and ice cream.
I still shop daily.

You get them where you get the bags....every grocery store in the country. (Unlike special vacuum bags). But I digress...
Sam's sounds like a good option for bulk vacuum bags.
If Walmart doesn't have it, it doesn't exist.
Oh they do have them, ask the other girls here they will tell you I try to get the best deal! I'll burn a quarter tank of gas locally to save on stuff! Of course its company gas!

But you don't save as much $$$ that way. PTJD saves $$$ by buying on sale/bulk and freezing.
