Takes a 10440 battery. I'm still working on the switch mechanism.... have to make a run to Lowe's tomorrow, see if I can find some parts to work with. It's just a simple mechanical spring switch, nothing fancy. I was considering taking apart a dead 510 battery and using the tiny button from it, but I'm going to keep it simple instead.

You really can't use the button/switch from a 510 unless you plan on using the rest of the circuitry too.

Or were you just going to use the rubber part with your own high-current button-switch?

Well I'm not planning on using it at all because I thought it'd be too cumbersome, but now that you say I'd need to use the whole circuit from it, then that just makes it that much easier to not use it. :)

Out of curiosity though, the button itself can't be removed from the rest of the circuitry?

I've seen some surface-mount micro switches online that seem like they'd be similar, but they're only rated <0.5mah.

Very nice looking Nature. Go to a reload shop to get some casings

Interesting. Since the 510 atty is .365DIA, a 375H&H MAG casing would prolly fit nicely if you could just cut the belt off and make a screw on. Make a heck of a conversation piece too. I have a few .416 Rigby empties here, maybe I'll machine up some adapters.

Damn!! I have been reading the posts on this forum for weeks now and have yet to post anything - until now.

I am a tinkerer (if that's a word) by nature and fairly new to vaping, so it was only a matter of time before I gravitated towards this section.

I was thinking about someone's idea of using a bullet casing for a Mod. Funny enough, I recently saw a (DON'T LAUGH) bullet shaped nose/ear hair trimmer. It seems as though it would be a pretty simple mod.

Anyway, I'm gonna give it a try. It if works out well, I may go on to a sillier one......maybe the nose hair trimmer shaped like an index finger.

Anyway, thank you all for the numerous posts, patience and eagerness to help one another. Although this is my first post, I feel very welcomed and encouraged in this new world called "vaping".
