hmm... thinking of an upgrade... anyone wanna suggest which one to get?
tempting to get xcube2...
tempting to get xcube2...
After the fiasco of a contest Smok held here at ECF I wouldn't trust that company at all.
They straight up lied.
Extremely unprofessional company, and after what I've seen right here in wouldn't spend a dime with them.
Avoid them at all costs.
I have an xcube II and 2x IPV3 Li (and VR edition).
The cube is fun to use with tanks, the bluetooth app imho is useless. Everything you can change on the app you can do on the mod, minus the temperature coefficient. The firing grip is solid and the customizable RGB strip is awesome at first but I find it just adds to the battery drain so I turned it off entirely. The screen on the top makes it dripper unfriendly. The display is sealed, the +/- buttons on the other end are not. I was wiping the screen off constantly when I dripped on it.
The ipv3 li is my go-to box, I take it to work with a Sapor or a Troll on top. Battery life is longer then the xcube at the same watts / usage. The profiles for ni200 and Ti01 are on the latest firmware and can be changed on the mod. The battery door is a solid sliding ballpin held sheet. Its a much more robust design then the cubes magnetic sliding door. I put a blob of hotglue inside the battery sleds on the cube to give it a tighter hold (thanks to this forum for that tip also).
tldr;
IPV3Li wins over the xCube II in my books. I find myself reaching more often for the Li. The only thing I like about to the xCube II over the ipv3li is the firing grip. But then again, I use the touch-button all the time on the ipv as well.

still deciding between xcube and ipv3 li. but im really into the flashy lights on xcube. Utility wise, 200w on ipv3 will last longer.
