Anyone else getting hit hard with it? We've got about 1 1/2 feet so far. And it's still coming down. The picture is of 2 of our cars underneath the snow.

We have over a foot of snow.......it has snowed for the last 26 hours.
Thank goodness we have electricity and enough food for the next 5 days.
I just went outside to refill the bird feeder.
I wonder how the birds survived.

Hope everyone stays warm in that mess. Wages might stink but am happy to be living in Florida right now.
and here I was feeling overwealmed with a few inches.. in my defence I spent my last few years in a city where the snow stays on the mountains and you only need a light jacket during "Cold" spells.
I wish we'd get snow, we got a little bit in december but haven't had any on the ground since january. Who would have thought that this far north we'd actually get no snow, and down south everyone's getting snow. messed up.
You enjoy that snow! We usually have more being near the mountains but this has been the lightest year for snow in a while! Makes me have high hopes for an early spring and motorcycle weather!
OK..I did help a little. 
I grew up in MD and know how it is when that happens. I hated shoveling snow. Havn't had to do it in 6 years now. BTW, you guys are in for another one possibly. We got a lot of rain here in Vegas today and it's supposed to turn to snow and be on your front door by Wednesday.
I am so jealous of all that snow! I LOVE snow, I look forward to winter every year for snow, and we didn't get much at all. I've shoveled once this year and it was 4 inches. Now it's all gone and just grass is visible no snow anywhere except in shaded areas. I want a wicked snowstorm. This area usually gets hammered with it, instead we just have 0 degree weather and lots of wind. Shoveling snow is my only work out and I'm not getting it this year.
Its going to be here for a while too...its dropping to 8 degrees tonight and 10 tomorrow night...so we will be sawing 2ft. thick blocks for an igloo instead of shoveling.
Hope you don't get freezing rain on top of the snow. We did in 96/97 and several major buildings collapsed! A lot of people had to have their roofs replaced...plywood and all! Make sure you use your snow rake on your roof if you have one...the rake that is, not the roof!

Yep...I was thinking about that too when I looked up and saw the snow had drifted on our garage roof. Were up to around 32" now and 8 degrees tonight wont help.
you can have ours too. I've had my fill of snow. I would like spring. please?
