A little windy today, but I wore a t-shirt outside. The clear sky seemed like it was a thousand miles wide. The predator birds are starting to get active. Spring is close. As they say down here in Florida, Delta is ready when you are.

Whew! This whole day has just sucked out loud... undrifted snow was about 2' high... and power went out at 11 am EST... power just came on about 10 minutes to ago... and it got down to about 53 degrees in my house... I would've attempted an escape, but I can't abandon my 3 kitties like that...

Karl you are a good person, you stay with the fur babies and keep them warm. My indoor cat has been trying to catch snowflakes at the window all day. He's not sure what it is. This week we only got about 1" compared to 12" last week. Now they say we may get more by Midweek. We can go years without snow and make up for it in just one year. HaHa! Everybody keep warm and vape away!
Okay... here is a picture of our driveway and the circle up near the house. There is a three foot sundial in the circle. I'm pretty sure we aren't digging out of this!

It just started here last night 6 inches of why we need to burn tires, leave our cars running when we are going into places for less than 30 mins, buy SUV's instead of small cars, use more CFC's.. If we would all do our part to help global warming we could all be at the beach.
Boy...after the 2.5 feet we got friday night into saturday...I just can't wait to see what comes tomorrow...we are listed (Philly area) in the 18-24 inch range....UGH.
It was hard enough to find a place to put the last two feet...I have no idea where this two feet is going...

And here it comes again, Pa going to see another 6-10"+ depending upon what part of the state, that on top of the 2 feet plus we already have.
Geez...I feel for you guys! We had it like that in '96. And Maureengill, I know what ya mean! It is hard to find someplace for the snow you are shoveling!
We're expecting another 12-18" within the next 24 hours or so.
And I had a complementary reservation to stay at Harrah's Casino Resort tomorrow night.
I had planned a day of gambling, swimming, hot tubbing, buffet dinner, pina coladas by the pool (non-alcoholic, of course), and in-theatre movie watching for the rest of the night.
Instead, I guess we'll be shoveling and snow-blowing all day again. And we still have over 1 1/2 feet of snow out there already.

It has been snowing here in Chicago since early morning, not sure how much we are going to get but I don;t think it is going to be as bad as some of the other states have gotten!

Yup...train from two blocks away to philly then off to ac...It'd be easier to drive though i guess...hey...if I made it to work in Malvern (an hour drive) I can make it to AC

At least the rain is getting rid of some of the snow...
I haven't cancelled my reservations yet. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. Check-in is 4 pm. I'm hoping they cancel the state of emergency here.
