Well, watching Tropical Bobs very informative video on the usefulness of using SNUS and VG mix as a new vape, I went ahead and ordered some VG online and got a couple of canisters of Camel Snus (Mint and Mellow) in the only store in my town that sells it. All the way across town, so it had better be worth the trip.

Yes, they had them. Bought 2 cans and planned on putting them aside for when the VG came in the mail.

Well, not being one to not try something new, and not wanting to wait for the VG to arrive, I cracked open the can of the Mellow Snus.

Has a very pleasant aroma to it. And by looking at these bags, they seem PERFECT for use as a vape. But, since I am still waiting for my VG to arrive, I decided to pop a pack of Snus mellow in my upper lip.

Wow. This is one tasty product! No harshness to it at all, spitless, and serves my nicotine needs nicely. If it were not for the PV, I would certainly have went this route.

Yes, I am now a fan of Snus.

And at $2.95 for a trial cantister of 12 pouches, it's still far cheaper than smoking analogs.

Now, when the VG comes along, I will post a response to Tropical Bobs video. I can't wait to taste how these things come out in the DSE601 e-pipe. ;)

I also watched his video on Snus, and would love to try it out..Where do you buy Snus? Can you get it at your local gas station? Is it like Skoal Pouchs?

From what I know of my chewing days and have read, it is similar is packaging but very different in how the tobacco is grown and processed. You want to make sure it says SNUS and not just chew in packets.

Right, SNUS and not CHEW like Copenheggin. And you don't chew the SNUS packets. Just pop it under the upper lip. The material is very absorbant (not less than a minute in my mouth the pouch was fully absorbed in saliva). So I can tell right off the bat this will be a good vape material. The PG or VG will easily soak in it.

No wonder it costs TB about 20 cents a day with these things vaping it. It was almost as if it was invented for it. :D

Glad you like it. It is good stuff. Just remember that snus and PVs are not mutually exclusive.

The camel SNUS is actually the most expensive stuff out there. The discreet snus is much cheaper, .99 cents for a package of 10. Even the other minis, as in general mint minis, are cheaper then the camel, and that's not a trial can.

A few favorite places to order

Get snus at GetSnus.com

Northerner. Buy Swedish Snus & Snuff Online. The Healthy Smokeless Tobacco Alternative

Buy Snus, Order Swedish snus online world wide - BuySnus.com

Getsnus.com is shipped from a US warehouse so is the fastest shipping. If my memory serves me right getsnus and Northerner used to carry camel SNUS but both have dropped them. They are available locally just about everywhere now so it's no big deal.

Yes, but you all have to remember the PACT act...if and when it becomes a reality, we will not be able to order tobacco products online- nor will they be able to ship them through the postal service. All of us might become limited to Camel Snus through our local stores....unless we can also stockpile the Swedish Snus and Stonewalls.

Personally, I don't have a store within 200 miles of me that sells the Swedish varieties, or the Arivas and Stonewalls.....all they have is Camel Mellows and Camel Frost.

Not really, as what you have to understand is that we're dealing with Swedish Match. SM is in the process of expanding their brick and mortar presence, and their line of snus available in the US. They have publicly stated that they are well aware of the legal situation in the US and that Swedish Match snus will be widely available in the US, if and when the PACT act passes. This isn't some quick buck Chinese manufactures who don't seem to have a clue as to US regulations.

They are also in the process of doing phase III clinical trials. This is the highest and strictest form of clinical trials required by the FDA. The e-cig community can only dream of having a company like Swedish Match behind them. If it sounds as if I'm swooning a bit, well.... I am glad they're on my side.

I'm not worried, and few in the snus community are.
