I just discovered snus today and was wondering if anyone actually vapes while having snus in their mouth. I have tried the camel mellow and like it. I have a thing for candy flavors. I am hoping that using snus and vaping (at the same time) it will give me that hand mouth connection (vaping) and oral fixation (snus) and get off the analogs for good.
I know camel mellow is low in nicotine and I vape 9mg so I'm not worried about OD. I just want to break the sticks. Even if I only smoked 2-3 sticks in the morning and one after eating I would throw a party.

It only takes one person to start a revolution.

To answer your question, I have used vaping with snus, and it's fine. Especially with your nicotine levels being low, I wouldn't worry about it. You only absorb 20 - 40% of the nicotine into your system, anyway, from snus. I have only read bad reviews about Camel SNUS, but I read it has much lower nicotine delivery than the Swedish stuff. So you shouldn't have OD worries. Personally I do not usually use snus if I vape, but I have tried it occasionally.

Try and find General Snus, and step away from the camel. It's the only real Swedish snus sold in the USA in stores. It is real snus, not like Camel SNUS, and its also better value. Go to generalsnus.com and find their store locator, it may be closer than you think. I found it sold in many places in St louis area, but I had to use the store locator to find it. I have only been using snus for three weeks and only use General brand, they have 8 varieties to choose from, but some are easier to find than others. General Mini Mint is very good, and has lower nicotine than the larger portion sizes. Nordic Mint and Classic Blend have more nicotine than the Mini-Mint, but less than the regular portion, the White portion, Mint white portion, Wintergreen or the Loose. The flavor of General snus can last over an hour, particularly with any of the "mint" versions. Though, wintergreen probably has to be my least favorite.

I am an ex-snuff user (feels good to say that) but I have tried the various snus types including the tobacco shop variety from Denmark. I am not sure that you can get enough nicotine from any of the varieties to "scratch the itch" for nicotine to help with your withdrawal. I just readthe faq about nicotine amounts in this forum's front end and it was very informative. It helped me understand that OD was not my biggest worry but UD (under dosing). I think that it is necessary to get a high enough dose of nicotine to kick your craving. Evidently if you need snus and vaping you are not getting a high enough quantity of nicotine. Of course thus is just my humble opinion. I would like to get input from others. This is what makes a forum like this so valuable.

It may not necessarily be the nicotine (although I think most smokers will do better with a pretty high nic content, like 24mg). For me, it is the other alkaloids in tobacco that aren't present in our e-juice that can really make a difference in quit stability. You can find them in WTA juice (from Aroma or WholeCig) or in snus.

I use either swedish snus or WTA when I feel I'm missing "something" from my vape and it completely takes care of the urge to smoke.

Regarding the OP, I have sometimes felt like vaping while snusing, but I also worry about nic OD so never tried it. I found for myself that if I leave the packet in for 1/2 hour and still feel like I need the hand/mouth then I vape after.
