Dr. Eissenburg has had a couple of years of close contact with vapers, so I'm sure he has our experience in mind but the clinicals don't support our reports. Which is pretty understandable...inexperience never yields maximized results. And, as Michelle M and Markfm eluded to, physicians are moving to a different drumbeat, they can't veer too far away from the policies already established by the anti's! The Establishment.
Patients are money, however you want to say that.
Policies established are like brick walls not to be broken down, let alone questioned or challenged.

Thanks everyone for all the info at long last, I was a little more hopeful with this study, I do wish they would do one with long-term vapers alongside real smokers. My blood plasma results are much higher with a much longer plateau, even at 12mg/ml intake, almost exactly in line with patch use at Med strength. But I'm too old for Clinical Trials!! Go figure. I'm also convinced E-Cigs DO deliver, and darned nicely.
The graphs don't really indicate results as in the NZ tests, but I've just read a cursory quick review. I'm convinced the plasma testing should be more in line with patch use. I didn't even see which unit they were using or the strength of the nicotine, but it's obvious to me very ineffective vaping at fault. I need to dig into it more to make more sense of it. This has been in the works on for a very long time, Kate of the UK was in touch with the good DR from the beginning of this journey ~ more than two years. There are many who could thank him at least for trying, but also many who thought he should be more aggressive, especially in view of the FDA & Company policies of denial.

[NOTE] I just had a terrific visit with my daughter, she and her husband are now going the route of ecigs after a year of cold turkey failures and gains ~ not in that order!....She was very encouraged with our talk, I think some of her problems are with ADD (like me) and is also taking Aderol (sp-not familiar) but her assessment of Aderol was: it "wakes" her up with a "click" and immediately she wants a cigarette! Enter e-cigs, now she has an alternative!!!! I'm stoked. And hopeful for them both. It's been a long haul.

Wow, this is a blast from the past. There was a huge thread about this that Dr. E actually participated in. I believe he even did a cotinine test on himself after using a PV (don't quote me on that). I know he is in the midst of a new study currently, and it involves experienced vapors vice new vapors... I participated back in November. To lazy to search the threads, but it was right after this was published and he was being quoted in the news saying that e-cigs did not deliver nicotine... ahh here is the thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-cnn-com-today-eissenberg-study-feedback.html with all 84 pages of gory details.
