DonDaBoomVape (that's his screen name!) has posted an excellent 6-part tutorial on the new members forum that answers many questions. It's got great info, and hilarious side-bars and short video clips to keep it interesting. I highly recommend all new members check it out.

It'll teach you all the basics about batteries, atomizers, juice, cartridges, etc., and will help speed you on your way to vaping. Best of luck!

(One final thing - check out the social groups listing for a group in your area. Having a fellow vaper in your vicinity can be a life-saver for you in an emergency (last atty dies, run out of juice, etc.). Many of us will pitch in to help a cyber friend out - we've all been in the same boat at one point.)

I looked at the 6 part tutorial, it helped a lot buying an e cig and just gaining knowledge but not so much right now

Did it get better? the preloaded carts are probably a "high level" of "MArlboro" flavor. But like I said, the preloaded ones can be yukky.

Hopefully you will like your liquids better than the preloadeds.

Dont think that an analog name will match its flavor in liquid. "Kent" liquid is almost so sweet people often say it is cotton candy like. And dont expect to find a liquid that matches your analogs. I gave up on that. A vapored liquid will in no way match burning paper and leaves and gawd knows what else.

Also vape a flavor for a day or two before making up your mind (unless it makes you gag or something). I hated RY4 the first time I vaped it. I just ordered 100ml of the stuff. and the kent I mentioned? Just ordered 100ml of it too.

I live in a dorm room, so i've only vaped on it today about 3 times for 5 mintues. I don't know how long it takes.

I did get a sample of the Ry4, I used to smoke camel mellows and enjoyed them until they were discontinued. Of course I love carmel, so I hope I enjoy that.

Sorry to say the juice is going to take a little while, I ordered my 501 on tuesday and got it today. I ordered my juice on wensday and it appears its going to take a little while

I am also new. Did tons of research and couldn't decide. I too placed an order with Heaven Gift, pretty much the same. Joye 510, the 50 cart and couple of liquid. Wow just got my order in today. LOVE IT. Cappicano and vanilla together = heaven itself. Now it looks like I should order some back ups. Think of all the money per month saved, ummm good excuse to go shopping. I have to jusfly everything.

The primer on the attys taste horrible. I didnt like the marb flavor. As a matter of fact I dont even like any tobacco flavor now. It also could be the nic mg ithe ones that came with my 510 kit were to high I had to go to lower juice or cut your juice with pg/vg juice.

Ok, just got the 510 in my hot little hands. I gotta say this is one very cool little device and I'm impressed. But... OMG... these prefills are horrible! <Bletch><spit><gag><barf><patooooey>

I immediately squeezed out a prefill and put Marlbone in it. Uhm, a little better but still the same taste, not sure I can vape it. Chalk up one more newbie that thought he wanted tobacco flavor and was surprised to find out he didn't. I am sitting here with a nice head swim from one of the high prefills though, lol! Haven't had one of those since the last time I started up smoking again.

Guess I'll squeeze another prefill and try the 555.

You do know that they out stuff on the atty @ the factory and sometimes it taste really awful.

I love the 555 juice! I couldn't stand it the first day I got it, but vaped it anyways because I had accidentally ordered a 60ml bottle of it. Now, I love it & getting down to about 20ml left so need to order another one.

MY JUICE IS IN!!!!!!!
Okay since I only have the carts with the MLB type liquid, I rinsed those off in hot water and put them petween to paper towel to let them dry.

Let me make sure my next steps are right..
First of course put the filter thingy back into the cart
Than put 12 drops of e liquid into the cart
Than put to drops of e liquid on the anty(any exact place on it?)

Than puff away..

Could someone confirm that

I'd get the kit and see how you like it. If you do, which you probably will, you'll need extra batteries & atomizers.
Can't help you much on the juice. I'm a menthol lover and a MIY.

I'm a menthol lover too and want to try out an e cig asap. I ordered a "sample kit" from smoking everywhere...got charged on the 15th, and still no sign of the kit nor a response to my email. But now what? What's a recommendation for a financially strapped, menthol smoking female?
