I could say the same thing if those hair balls would stop robbing me of the opportunity.

Yep, that was the one that left a number to text or call for emergencies - but looking at site, they are sold out of the stuff that I know about - what they do have, I'm not sure about (an ego variable that works by clicking it??) So, I'm not sure what to do.
I will say, though, this experience has made me beyond grateful for what IS available for us now - between the nuvo (bleeech! is there a gagging emoticon?) and the Njoy king that my husband just ran out to get me (45 mg's of nic??? omg!), after 6 hours, it is a little pathetic how much I am missing my pv....and my flavored juice....just the act of vaping, as I can't bear more than one random puff on these things...... but the most amazing thing?? I don't want a cig....I really just want to vape again!! It is so much better than smoking ever was - which is good to know.

I quit by using little cig-a-likes.
check to see if your center post on the battery is jammed down. if you tighten them up too tight it will pop down to far
I think for me, it's going from the nuvo/blu disposable.....to three weeks of the ego with MBV Vanilla Ice or HHV's Peppermint Blast in it....back to the nuvo and now the Njoy..... it is not nearly as much fun as it was!!
Thanks for the link to Cherry Vapes - I sent them a message on facebook. It seems they are in Westchester which would be soooo much easier if they allow pick ups (which I have no idea if they do) - while my husband would have gone to Vapefest had it been tomorrow, he did remind me that it was not in Queens, as I though, but Long Island - which can take 40 mins some days and 3 hours on others. He was only slightly less thrilled at the thought of going to VapeNY in Jamaica, Queens.
on a side note, I'd just like to say that there are some very kind and thoughtful people on this board!!

I am really, really not good with this part of it - but I had heard about that and watched a video on it before - but, when I went to see if I could pry anything up a tiny bit, it all bent - so, though this wasn't working (and had been the first to go) I certainly finished it off with trying to fix it. Not sure if you can see it in the picture but it was definitely messed up and I knew i was just making things worse

I did one of mine like that at first, tightening it up to the charger. Work the outside edge with some thing small. It is only compresses alittleto stop working. Just dont turn the power on untill its centered or it will short out

The AltSmoke ego twists are genuine joytech. However, they are only warrentied for 14 days. Today, I was also having similar issues with one much like the OP. It's the battery, not the charger, however. And it's headed for the garbage can. They do ship fast, and the issue is probably me, and not them, but just wanted to share that. Everything else I have from them has been trouble-free.
If I had to smoke a cig-alike or disposible again, I would opt for the Blu kit. Although expensive, they do taste better than the Blu disposibles, at least IMO.

I use Green Smart Living because the liquor store near me sells them - and they have 510 threading so I can put CE3s on them.
Best of luck, once you get going again try to avoid over tightening. Don't know if that caused your problem, but it can and will cause problems with these devices making connection.

I did try again on the other battery, after watching another video, and did a better job of it but it didn't help. I very much appreciate the advice, though!
Well, just placed an order for this Vision Spinner kit from My Vapor Store, with over night Fed Ex shipping (though now I see they are in NY, pretty close to me). Fingers crossed that the processing time is quick.....they will end up with a customer for life! Wish I'd found this when I started out but I am excited to try the Spinner. Hopefully I can make stick with the disposables for a few days.
