Earlier today, I refilled my Taifun GS today with the same liquid, Red Bull, that was in it yesterday. It's a nice juice, some what fruity and the Taifun is an awesome atomizer. I started vaping it and I get the smell of fresh cut onions. I'm thinking, well maybe my wife is just made a salad and went up to her office. So I ask her and she says no. I set it to the side and fill up my SQuape with the exact same bottle. It vapes just fine, tastes great. 3 hours later, I finish off the SQuape and switched over to the Taifun GS again, Fire it up and get fresh cut onions. The taste isn't "oniony" but it not Red Bull either. The smell is definitely fresh cut onions. This is a first. Turns out I had a Vapergeist. Washed the coil and wick, dumped the fluid and filled it up from the same bottle. No more onions.

..........that explains it! I too have had similar "occurrences", now I know who to blame!

Ya gave up too quick. Just turn up da voltage/wattage and vape till ya get da grilled onion flav. Oh, don't ferget da mushrooms!

Otherwise, ya may have had sum residual manufacturing fluid in da background.

I don't know what it tasted like but it was terrible. I do like Iffy's suggestion of turning up the heat, though I'd throw a little hamburger on there too.
