Sergey, why do you torch the Nextel? Are you buying the stuff that isnt kiln fired? if so, from what I have read, it would take alot more and alot longer heat than the stove to remove the sizing. If you got it from big tex, it comes kiln treated to remove the toxins. Just curious :)

By a silly mistake, my nextel is silica, not ceramic. I didn't pay attention to the XS instead of XC. I think it doesn't need to be torched for cleaning, it just helps stiffen it a bit and make it fray less.

I understand. I have really taken to the XC. Been using it exclusive for almost a week. Very clean still. :)

What setup is your favorite? Seems like I remember you being a cotton person...

Yes....I'm generally a cotton person. I usually use 32 gauge Kanthal, 5 wraps around a little screwdriver (size????--small like for eyeglasses), and either organic cotton balls OR DMC-5 (my favorite) embroidery thread....two strands doubled. Love it. Usually comes out about 1.3 - 1.7 ohms. Having said that, I've been using 1.5mm Ekowool this week just to see what it's all about....and I'm loving it, too. With the Ekowool I can dry burn to clean it, and that's cool. Can only do that with cotton after I remove the wick to change it. The verdict is still out (for me) on what I prefer, but I'll say, I'm liking this Ekowool. I stick a pin through it to make it stiff, wrap about 5 wraps around it, remove the pin....and it works great.

Nothing wrong with premade attys. HH 357 is a great atty! It is! What you use is not important as long as what you use satisfies you. Period. End of story. Thank you, drive through please. Do not question yourself if you hit on a combination that works for you. Whether that is premade atomizer, cartomizer, cheap rba, expensive RBA or Rob RBA. The only thing that matters is that YOU are personally happy and satisfied with your vapeing experience.

Well should nominate this for a sticky. A lot of people, including myself, lose track of this quite a bit :)
