It came in. Damn. This thing is really well built. Pictures when I get somewhere with better lighting.

I realized that I was hell-bent on running a Kick in it when I realized I don't own an 18650. Well...that might have been a bit of a mistake. The kick went in okay, and I ran a wire from it's grounding spring to the Reo's battery spring. It works and fires. But, with the way the switch works and the way the kick seems to fit in it right, there's a small issue that it kind of jostles out of position and will keep firing forever. I fixed that with some tape, but the "off switch" doesn't seem to funciton at all. The switch still moves enough to fire it when it's off.

Looks like I'm going to buy an 18650 and just use it unregulated if I can't figure out how to make the switch work correctly. But, damn, people were right about these things.

I'm less excited about my first Reomizer build. 28g kanthal over silica not quite a microcoil came out to right at 1.3 Ohms. But it's not tasting anywhere near as good as some other builds. Whatever. Wick & Wire are cheap. I'll probably just wrap another one later.

Congrats Bro! Yep, your dead on about REOs and coils :)

I think you might be fine with the 18650 and the locking pin not working. When i used to use the Kick my switch would not lock as well. The contact on the kick sits higher than the 18650s nipple so the travel of the firing pin was shorter which allowed
contact to be made even when in the locked position. When i went to a straight 18650 the locking worked fine.

That's a different atty on the K100 than what I remember at VapeRite. Looks good. The REO looks great! Just my opinion, but I'd rock it without the kick for a while. I think you'll be surprised once you get the coils wrapped the way you like them. Performance drop is almost nonexistent for a surprisingly long time. I vape in the 1.0 - 1.2 range, for reference.

Wait, I know you from vaperite? Or did they have them for a while?

Yeah, it's a smoktech mini-RDA. I have two of them, though they're not the same atomizer. One has screw-top posts, the other has thumb screws.

get rid of those fleshlights and buy more Reo's.

Lol. I think you meant dildos. Fleshlights are the other side. And, uh...I'll get a couple 18650s and see how it does first. It's a lot more convenient than dripping and a much better experience than carto tanks. But I'm not quite ready to trade all of my tubes in just yet.

It was my mini you were pawin'.

Thought the K100 looked different, I like it. Neat little mech for the money. Should help some folks get off the cancer sticks.

Surprising how small this world is.

Kewl, we got another ATL area vaper in the house.

Dan, I have given up on my plight to point out (by making fun of) that you don't have to use something that can easily be confused with a dildo to generate humongous clouds of nicotine containing vapor.

If dude feels comfortable hitting offa one, who am I to opine?

I have one too, it just happens to have a brush head attached to it. I am hoping that sonicare will introduce rectangular shape toothbrushes one day :).

I remember when I saw my first box shaped mod on YouTube (before I found ECF). I immediately started searching for "square Ecig batteries, rectangular ecig batteries"!and every variation I could type in to no avail.

That's why Caridwen will always be on my list of most influential people. She was the one who pointed me at REOs.

Now if I could just get my wife to remember that this isn't a smut page - it's just that there has been a rash of people posting pix of dildo-alikes in REOville lately :)

I agree, Russ. I've always liked non-tubular shapes for PVs. Tubed are simpler, but don't make sense beyond that. Putting battery in parallel with the guts and juice delivery system makes it so much more compact and sturdy. Even my first few mods for Vivi Novas and carto tanks were either altoids boxes with recessed tanks, or double-barrel flashlights.

So, I got a pair of Efest 18650s. And apparently the coil I built on the Reo was 0.8 ohms (28g kanthal contact/micro-coil). The thing takes a second or two to heat up, but when it does...it hits amazingly. And, yea, the performance dropoff seems to be nonexistant. It kind of makes me afraid of running the batteries too low.

I certainly can't have a Reo for every juice I want to try. And there are still several tubes I like. But it seems like I might just wind up a Reo snob when I'm out and about.

This afternoon was the fastest I've ever taken out a new mod without a backup. Even right after I got the Provari, I was carrying a twist and another tank with me for a couple weeks. I still seem to want to drip at home, but you guys are right, I'm probably going to want another one at some point.
