I like them. Gandalf more then gollum. Which is what I expected.
To me gollum tastes of dark honey with hints of raisin/figs. Not really my thing.
Gandalf (legend whatever) Tastes like a high quality version of the juice that was in the first ever ecig disposable I got. Less peppery, but I do see how some pallets would say perfumy. My pallet dose not read it as perfumy so... I would call that aspect more of an earthyness. More simplex then what I imagined. But still really good. I can see why this juice has a big following. I would say it tastes like a blonde (light colored) pipe tobacco with very subtle hints of other things such as earthiness and and smokyness.
My husband hated it. Not his thing at all. That just goes to show how different our pallets can be. And I can see why some would love it and some hate it. Taste is very subjective. Myself I find it on the good to higher end of tobaccos... I can vape it and it is quite pleasant and enjoyable to me. Just not my fave. I think I like my VR applwood and KY4 over this one. But they are very different in body and taste. There is more of a complex rich feel and taste to VR where I get Gandalf as more of a straight up pipe tobacco that is more dry/smokey rather then sweet. None the less It is good and I think I would actually crave this from time to time. Enough so that I would have a medium bottle steeping in wait for just such an occasion. It didn't turn me into a die hard HHV fan. But I will be buying it again and that says something about this juice.
I am not sure when I got these but I think they have steeped at least 7-10 days. People say the flavor deepens with more steeping. So I will not vape this whole bottle just yet.
