Hello everyone! First off just want to say thank you for posting up pretty much everything I needed to know about making a purchase and what I needed. Everyone here on this forum seems like a great support group and hoping I can come to you with questions. I just pulled the trigger and finally ordered a Reo Grand. Ive been On and Off from vaping for a year now, more off than anything, I own a Ego and Ego-T these things were too messy, leaking everywhere, and maintenance was too much than just buying a pack of analogs. Well here is my final effort hopefully to turn from analogs for good. My setup is in the mail, I did this time around to start with Cartos, I ordered the bulk Resurrector 1.7LR Cartos from CCV, no experience with cartos before but I did read somewhere that they were less messy and easy to maintain with optimal performance. Now my question to using cartos, what would be the best way to vape VG juice with them? Looking to try Bobas Bounty and GJ, I heard they clog easily. That was pretty much my only concern with this. Anyways thanks for taking the time to read this and Wish me luck!
Now the Snail Mail Stalking begins! :2cool:

First of all, Congratulations, you are well on your way to an exceptional vape experience with your REO!!!!! You really won't need too much luck, REOs make vaping with Attys or Cartos easy. I use Boba's in a carto on my REO daily, it's easy as pie. I put the carto on the REO, blind squonk a couple of times and vape away. Cartos generally last at least a week for me, sometimes longer I change them out when their performance drops or they start to get a bad taste. I prefer mostly VG juices on my REOs, but really have had no problem with any juice I've tried. Welcome to REOville!

Nice buy! Just to let you know, I just spent the whole day vaping GJ fed normally into a standard 306 atty. Not one problem and the bottle is nearly empty now. Feeds VG just fine. One other thing, which goes to the versitility of this device (well, mine's a mini) but just to change things up in the flavor departement a little, after squanking, I dropped one drop of menthol into the catchcup and slurped it up into the atty to mix with the GJ. I can't believe how well it worked. Now that's a functional PV!

WELCOME TO THE TEAM

I'm pretty sure your going to be ecstatic about your purchase. It's the easiest mod to use IMO and I hate to mess with stuff to much. As for your concerns with 100% VG juices. It's best to fill it before you put it on the REO. Since it's so thick, it's best to put 5 drops at a time. Just shake it around like a thermometer every time until you reach 45 drops. Then let it sit for 30 minutes.

This gives time for the juice to completely seep into the filler material and everything else. Then put it on your REO and your good to go. After about 5-10 hits let it rest for a few minutes. Since it needs time to re-wick so to speak. Which is more important now since your using VG. Which needs time to get the diapers (pieces of cotton wrapped around the coil) wet again. I also found that my cartos got dry faster then normal from using high % VG juices. That's just from my observations.

Remember not to flood your cartos as well since this can cause the filler material to swell. Which gives you a tighter draw and decreased performance. It's best to blow out access juice if this happens. Another problem that flooding creates is that it can shorten the overall lifespan of your carto.

Overall, if you do everything right. Then you can expect around 3-5 days from your carto. It could be longer but, I find that is the most I can get out of cartos filled with AVE juices. Which is pretty good for 100% VG compared to others. One carto I had only lasted a day.

Welcome disfilam. There isn't much more to say except you made an excellent choice on cartos. The resurrectors are the best. I'm new to Reoville myself and I've tried various attys but I keep going back to my resurrectors. They rock!

Oh, I don't fill them first. I put them on dry and do like that link that Rhaps posted. I've been using the same one for a week now and it was used on other mods before I got my woodvil so if you don't let them get too dry they will last a long time. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for being so welcoming! whats the ETA usually on receiving from Rob?
If ordering from the reosmods site you can expect the REO to be shipped within a day or two. They are shipped priority with signature needed for delivery. So usually two or three days after shipping. Depends on your location.

Absolutely agree, I believe that I ruined my early cartos by flooding not by using dry. The performance just got worse and worse. Got the hang of it now and my cartos last between 7-10 days.

Congrats and welcome! You made a terrific choice - the Grand with cartos is about as hassle-free as it gets. I like the Resurrectors a lot. I typically fill up a new one, slap it on the Grand and replace it somewhere around a week later - I run about 4ml of juice through it in a day.

Hope you really enjoy your Grand - you will find all the help you need here!
