So I finally realized that it was the chemicals and not the nic...

After vaping for about a month and a half, I've come to a conclusion that nicotine wasn't the reason I smoked a pack a day for 2 years. It must have been the chemicals.

I've tried to highest nic content from about 15 different vendors and STILL, I cant feel a damn thing. Today, I had a cart filled with 0mg nic juice and another cart with 36mg nic juice. Vaped the 0 nic for 5 minutes and then the 36mg for 5 minutes. Didnt feel ANY difference.

This is probably the reason why vaping hasnt stopped me from smoking analogs although it has got me from a pack a day to only 3 or 4 a day.

Is there anybody else who doesn't feel anything from the nic such as a buzz, headrush or whatever people call it?

I don't get any kind of feeling from the e-juice unless I've used waaaaay too much of it, then I get a racing heart and headache. I also have no need to smoke 99.99% of the time though so something's working right. I have smoked one here and there, mostly with a group of friends that smoke or the one time I was having equipment problems, and had no need to continue smoking, just went right back to vaping.

You may be correct in that you are more addicted to the other chemicals, it does happen to some vapers. Try supplementing with either some snus or disolvables. The Smokeless tobacco sub-forum here is full of people that weren't getting everything they needed just from e-cigs.

I am right there with ya! I was a pack a day smoker give or take a few extra. I started off with 24mg then increased to 36mg. For some reason I thought I could go down to 24mg...it is not working...I still smoke a few cigarettes a day. Vaping is a slower process than smoking cigarettes. With cigarettes it reaches the brain faster. I find myself having to contstantly vape! When I smoked that pack a day it was like-light the cigarette put it out and then move on.

I do enjoy vaping but I do know that its delivery system does not really put out the nictoine as one would think. I think my absorbtion rate is closer to almost nil.

On the plus side....I only smoke those two cigarettes!

Don't feel a buzz, headrush or anything!

It replaces the urge, but not using the same feeling. It is meant to be a replacement / cessation... Yeah, the food cravings occur, and the want for the rush still happens, but those things die down after a while.

If you stop using the device with the expectation of a rush, and get over the need for the buzz, you'll find that it's a perfect replacement. You have to go into it without the idea of looking for the next best drug, but with the expectations of quitting your former addiction.

Lastly, I know I promote this all too often, but the 26mg Caramel from CigNot (Dekang) is the closest thing to the cig lung burn I have been able to find. Even other Dekang flavors don't come close to the lung hit, or the thickness. But don't go rush them on orders, they need to keep their stock up for me! :p

I smoked for ~12 years. Not since the first few times I smoked or the first few cigarettes after a failed quit attempt had I felt any sort of headrush or nic rush or anything, really. It just made the craving go away.

Now I find that it's completely the opposite with vaping. I get a bit of a rush, the craving goes away and I get a good burst of flavor to go along with it!

I think getting satisfaction from vaping has to do with technique more than nic content (not 0, obviously) or equipment. Try taking a single, long drag into your mouth, then inhale down into your lungs. You can feel the throat hit all the way down your airway if you're using a low resistance atty and juice with decent PG content. I didn't really get this sensation without practice - and vaping an e-cig like i would smoke a cigarette does not provide the same enjoyment.

My $.02

I think there are two different things people are talking about when they talk about a buzz from cigarettes.

The first kind of buzz is sort of like a caffeine buzz, and it is from the nicotine.
I don't think of it as a buzz so much as just a feeling of being more alert and maybe a little wired.

The second kind of buzz is what I think many people are talking about when they talk about the buzz.
That is the light-headed, headrush kind of buzz that is coming mostly from the carbon monoxide.

The first "buzz" you can still get from the nicotine, but the second buzz you can't get from an electronic cigarette.

Aroma eJuice.

I'm sorry folks... especially to those who have tried many juices and never found that "satisfaction" ... I know, been there... done that. I can say with absolute confidence that there are a number of excellent vendors out there with awesome juice... I can also say with absolute confidence that if you get juice from Aroma... you won't be disappointed. I vape this stuff at 18mg and it is perfect for me... some may need more or want less, but I am definitely satisfied when I vape this stuff. There is no doubt it is 18mg strength juice... period. I do know that there are some vendors out there that will leave you wondering if you actually have nic in the juice... I won't point fingers, but I will suggest that you try everyone at least once and find your sweet stuff.
