...and I am loving it. Quick questions. Should I take the cartomizers off when I am not vaping? Will this extend the battery life at all? Anyone else have any helpfull tips?

no need they will only activate when you inhale

I take them off if I'm not using it for a long time (more than a day) just to be safe. It doesn't extend the life or anything, it's just battery safety for me. Doubt anything will happen, but it doesn't hurt

I have 4, 78mm that I carry in my volt case when I'm out of the house. Then I have 8 others that I never use, except the pink one that my wife uses and that only gets charged once every 3-4 days. I have a 1300x2, four 650mah x2, two 900mah x2 and a provari. If I'm home for the weekend, I don't use the 78mms at all, just my x2 with clearos
As I lay in bed right now I have 2 x2's, one with grape and one with piña colada and the provari with volt ice menthol in a vivi nova. I take a drag on one, then the other and then the other. I think I have a problem.

That would be cool. I'm not even vaping for the nicotine. I just like the action of doing it and the awesome flavors. If it wasn't for the fact that I like the little throat hit from the 6mg nic, I could probably do 0 nic.
I average about 6-7ml a day sometimes more. I look at it this way. Even if you absorb 100% of the nicotine in vaping, that would only be about 36-42mg of nic. I used to smoke 1 1/2 packs a day of Marlboro smooth, which is about 45mg of nicotine. That 1 1/2 packs was also only at work and when I could sneak out away from the kids. If I could have smoked at home, then it would have been 2-3 pad easy. I like the action of smoking,
When I vape I do it all day at work and in my room at home. It will go down a bit when my kids come home next week though. I don't vape around the kids and my 15 year old works with me, so my vaping at work will be cut down to when I can do it without him seeing me,

I tried 0 nic. It was a lot like drinking flat soda. Didn't taste so good. 4 wasn't too bad though. But 6 is easy to get.
I started with 6mg and went up to 12mg. I smoked around 18 marlboro ultra lights a day before I went to vaping so I think I am getting a lot more nic in my system now but a lot less rubbbish.

The battery question has already been answered, in detail LOL. Maybe clean the battery and cartomizer threads and ends whenever you charge or repace a cartomizer with a tissue or other soft cloth. An end cap is great for keeping pocket lint and other stuff out of the mouthpiece. If you're refilling your cartomizers, don't use them until they are dry which will produce little or no vapor and a dry, airy inhale with a funny taste. Experience will show you that point. Other than that, just enjoy! Volt is a great system and SI has the best customer service.
