I think he meant the non BF version. :)

1/16" is what folks typically drill the center post to convert it to BF.

100% VG works perfect in a REO. They were designed for high VG liquids :)

Are you cross drilling a lower hole on a BF version or drilling a TF version? Factory appears to be 1mm. I used 1/16 since It's easier and less expensing to get quality quantity of that size bit than trying to get smaller.

Thank you Super and Filthy for the replies, just the info. I was looking for. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, forgot to subscribe and lost track of the thread....

I have since decided not to try converting my tf cyclone myself and risk damaging it. I am now waiting on delivery of a bf cyclone w/ afc and a LP Grand (my first REO), so am a tad bit excited! What is a good base line dual coil recommendation (if there is such a thing) for this setup? Thanks again!

Depends on what you are used to vaping, Remember that dual coils cut the ohms in about half. So if you build two 1.5 ohm coils when mounted dual you'll be at about .75 ohms. On the current LP Reo grand you'll want to be above .6 ohms to limit problems with springs and buttons. I find a .8 to 1 ohm to be really nice, IE: two 1.6 to 2 ohm coils. I typically use 30 gauge to keep wrap count lower.
