hey, guys. Should I buy a mini? lol. Wonder if the airholes are any different. Since I'm running a mvp the mini seems like it would do better on it than the lite. But, I'm sure in the end the lite will be just fine.. and my guess is it will hit better.

The mini fits the ego form factor , stick with the lite , there's more room to work with starting out .

FYI your Russian is a kayfun clone / derivative made by Shenzhen Kebo Technology Co in China .

Yeah, I found that out after I bought it. I thought it was Russian.
Well, I hope their workers get treated & paid better than the horror stories that has been reported with other companies.

Dude, I can't wait. lol, hopefully it show's by next friday. its shipped but hasnt even showed up on the tracking site yet. not sure when usps gets ahold of it..

Buying your first *anything* from FastTech is hard to stomach (but I've done that plenty myself). It's a brand new shiny, you want it yesterday, but you have to wait. And wait. And wait. It's a killer!

I would check the shipping status on my orders twice a day (and found out that shipping status means almost nothing - I've had orders arrive when the shipping status still showed "Origin post preparing shipment", or that the items were still in customs, or whatever).

Now that I have most of what I *need*, it's easier to order from FastTech. I place an order, do my best to forget I placed the order, then receive a pleasant surprise vape mail sometime 2-5 weeks later. :)

Fyi the russian was designed by the same people who made the kayfun. Being designed in china and being made in china are 2 completely deifferent things. I honestly could care less what people think because the russian destroys the kayfun because A. its the size of a lite and has a much better designed airflow control. B. It has an adjustable center pin. C. Far nicer finishes available. To buy a real kayfun over a russian is just silly. Also like i said before people are putting so much abuse on the 510 connection because of the adjustable center pin.

I have a Tobecco clone that a built 20 times and can't get it to work more than an hour without burning cotton. My ephro is going on 2 weeks without even changing the wick.

Here is how the clone business works:

Business owner buys tooling with Chinese capital. He hires an engineer to make a print of the original.

The tooling company sends in a technician to setup the tooling to produce a product that is an exact duplicate of the original.

The busness man starts building them at a loss builds a name for himself and customers are happy.

A good clone builder has QC which checks statistical samples to print, if there is a problem call the technician in for maintenance.

A crappy clone builder doesn't even have QC and just keeps selling hoping that initial burst of success carries him until he can get a USA VISA or whatever.

Some successful clone companies QC to print and learn from the technician what to do when things go wrong (maintenance in hous.) I think Ephro is in that category.

Moral of the story when a $16 clone hits the market buy then, don't wait for reviews 'cause by then it will be crrooked or out of scpec somewhere.

I bought the EHPro Kayfun 3.1 from Madvapes, watched the video, and built my first coil in a careful 15 minute process. It fired up at 1.5 ohms and vaped well. I just got tired of paying for bad Kanger and Aspire coils. If I'm going to spend the money it might as well be on wire and eventual spare parts instead of 1 and 2 premade coils a day.

I've recoiled Kangers for a long time. I've found that I'd rather recoil a Kayfun for the flavor I get from it.

The Aerotank Mega rivals the Kayfun on flavor and I can't understand how people claim KFL's are easy to build my Tribeca hasn't lasted more than an hour without a re-wick.

That's assuming that you can find coils for the Mega that last more than 8 hours of vaping. I haven't been able to. The same is true for my Nautilus.

It takes me less than 15 minutes to disassemble my Kayfun and recoil it. I replace the cotton wick every day or two, but that's an easy process that I do while refilling the tank. The coil itself can last easily for a week.

Tribecca shouldn't be a coil killer. It's a light yellow clear juice from what I remember. It does have some sweetness, though.
