I bought this one $16.59 Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5ml) - clear tank section / matte surface at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping after doing tons and tons of research on all the models FT offers.

Seems the discussions forum pinned this model as superb with top notch machining and most of the comments mentioned it was the best clone they have received when compared to the other FT clones they have .

Super smooth threading with a seamless fit , airflow works flawlessly and i have had zero leaks , easy to fill with an o ring equipped fill screw and hits like a beast on the MVP with builds in the 1.2-1.8 ohm range.

After playing with many different size and types of coils i strongly prefer micro coils on 28 gauge Kanthal and a mandrel no larger than 1/16th and then lightly compacted and wicked with cotton.

I have noticed (with 28 gauge) anything larger in diameter than 1/16 to wrap with does not heat the coils fast enough because the MVP has that cutoff feature

For $16.00 you can't go wrong

Lol!! Sorry, but I'm just not buying it...

The EH pro clone is superb but if you do your research you can get a great FT clone . FT offers a ton of them and some are far worse than others .

The bad ones are easy to spot by the discussion comments and reviews and i stayed far away from those but after another member raved about a particular model i looked into it more and all the comments were A+ so i ordered it and very glad i did.

No way in hell i'm paying a lot more money when the $16.00 kicks ... like it does. If you can get the EH pro version for around $30.00 it's a no brainer but at $40.00 i opted for the FT , actually some of the comments mentioned that particular model was as good as the EH pro version by some posters and for significantly less $$.

Here are some comments from the one i was talking about:

This is thing is unbeatable for the price. I wanted a cheap 3rd Kayfun style Atty, and decided on this one. It works as well as my ehpro and tobeco. Channels are nice and deep. It's a little cramped in the chimney, but that hasn't been an issue. I read in a review that the nano kit doesn't fit, but I haven't tried it yet. Definitely not a deal breaker for me, but it would be nice.

This Kayfun out performs my russians I bought here for almost twice the price. It is much lighter, doesn't leak (so far) and feeds juice up the channels correctly with no modification. Overall I am impressed with this one and will reorder another when my wallet stops crying from the last order :p

Great purchase. Just wrapped and fit a 1.5ohm coil on this and it's a great vape. Far higher quality than I was expecting - the threading is superb and feels quality (was not expecting much given the price). The finish on mine was flawless and actually looks half decent on a stainless steel Nemesis, and it's "alright" looking sat on a Caravela (brushed stainless steel with gold top cap and firing button) Will not be to everyone's taste, the finish, but I actually quite like it.

Whistles with the airflow screw in, took mine out completely and had no bother since. Easy to fill and holds a fair amount of liquid. Threw a stainless steel drip tip on to match the MOD and it looks pretty good.

All in, for the money, you really cannot go wrong. It puts my Rocket (purchased here) to shame for performance and quality.

Buy with confidence

I have the 24$ kayfun 3.1 offered here https://www.fasttech.com/products/1630300, and I think that the build quality on this is better. namely the juice channels. No dry hits period. 100%vg with microcoil at 12 watts. Would buy again and again.

Kayfuns are designed to be fired between 1.0 - 2.0 ohms. They were never meant to be used for sub-ohms in the first place.

The lowest I go in a KFL is .7 with a single coil. Anything below that point and your going to get an extremely hot vape. And the only reason my builds are .7 is because it's a triple twisted 30g or twisted 28g with 6 to 7 wraps. If you're cloud chasing a KFL is not the device to do it with.

Oh, boy. I order the kfl from fasttech go to bed, wake up to all this. nice.
Well, I bought it. lol.. How long does it take from fasttech? i ordered the 8-12 day china shipping so i bet it takes like 3 months.
and the mini sounds awesome, for the mvp. I'll have to check that out maybe one day.

And hey, if i bought it, my local vape store does coil builds but what all would I need to be able to rebuild it myself?
Just a spool of coil?

i think im shooting for 1.8ohms on it. Does fast tech sell all I would need? Coil wire and wick? Thanks.

Somewhere out there
Figure about 2 weeks more or less to get your order. That will give you enough time to get the rest of your supplies and watch some YouTubes on making coils, this one is pretty good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT2bkmsNVmI.

For wire, get Kanthal from Lightning Vapes or Temco, both have their own sites and also sell on ebay, Lightning is also on Amazon. A 100 foot roll of 30 gauge will be fine for 1.8 Ohms and only costs a few bucks.

Get some organic cotton balls from a local pharmacy for wick.

Your MVP can check resistance, so no rush to get an Ohm meter, although you'll likely want a stand-alone meter eventually.

I don't trust comments & reviews on the websites selling the products.

I would not recommend that KFL from fasttech. I actually purchased it and gave it a bad review that they refused to publish. It is complete garbage compared to a Ehpro KFL v2 clone or even a Tobecco KFL v2. That exact item is now in my trash waiting to make its way to the landfill. I've built KFL builds on authentics and clones and never had a leak out of the airhole till I tried this device.

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and be a lot happier.

Agree! Get the EHPro KFL+ v2...

Always give the forums 24hrs to debate your question, then draw your conclusion from the advise posted.

And fasttech... my recommendation on wait time. Free shipping 8 to hopefully before you die days. And if you paid the upgraded 8-14 days is realistic.

ha, yeh. I hear ya. I paid the 56 cents hopefully itll show in a week or so. the wire i bought today is free 3-5 days. Too bad I gotta wait so long for the atomizer, but it's all good.

If the listing says ships next day it averages about two weeks for delivery , if it says ships in 7 or more days it's anybody's guess , exercise some common sense when ordering from Fasttech and you should be fine , they do have a decent warranty while some vendors offer none .

I have that one as well (vaping it right now, actually). It's not too bad as far as functional build qualtiy, but the "sandblasting" is a PVD coating, I believe, and I'm not at all a fan.

The first unit they sent me wouldn't thread into the connections on a couple of my mods (I'm guessing because there was too much coating on the threads?), but they immediately sent me out a replacement base (awesome customer service!), which was still wonky, but I got it to work. A few times threading it in and out of the 510 connection and it's fine now.

I also had to remove the airflow control screw to mitigate the uber-annoying "whistling" on the draw, but that's fine by me, since it needs plenty of air to complement the deep juice channels. :)

Everything else works just fine - smooth threading between the pieces, it fully seals, deck screws are better than the Tobeco version, etc. No leaks, and the deep channels mean no dry hits, even chain vaping 100% VG juice.

My biggest complaint is that it looks and feels kinda cheap (again, I mostly blame the crappy PVD coating), and that it comes with only the one plastic tank, but the fact that it vapes well at $16 tempers those complaints (and you can swap out the plastic for any other stainless steel Kayfun tank). :)

Not my favorite Kayfun (Ehpro KFL+ v2 has that distinction), but not bad for the money. If I could do it all over again, I'd go with the even cheaper, polished version.

I bought an authentic R91 and received it in 3 days. It works great & looks great. All I had to do was clean it and put a coil on it.
