Happy Saturday...
So.... I saw a thread on where to get kanthal wire. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...7561-looking-quality-kanthal-n-wick-bulk.html the second post led me to this site and I ordered 100 ft of 32GA wire. It's sitting here on my desk. $8.48 Now what? LOL
Does anyone here like a particular seller or have a recommendation as to where to get 2mm wick in bulk? Pro-con.. thanks in advance!

You can purchase your silica from ebay that is where i get my 3mm and 2.5mm silica from. 2mm 2000 Micron or 12 AWG Silica Wick High Temperature Glass Fibre 50 Metre | eBay . This is for 165 ft. of 2mm silica.

Hey man mwdenko, with the RSST, you may want to try SS mesh, as much of a pain as it is to get started on (small learning curve cutting, rolling oxidizing), generally these genesis attys are made for them. You can still try other wicks though.

I was planning on mesh for the RSST. Now I just have to find one. :)

Sorry to hijack I just want to ask a quick rsst question that doesn't deserve a thread. It may also assist the OP, I hope. :)
Im on my 2nd try everything looks good 1.6 ohms that dont bounce, coils light up evenly but I was getting very low vapor both tries then I moved the air hole in the cap to the wick side and all of a sudden its like I knew what I was doing. Is that where the airhole is supposed to go or was this a coincidence?

Thanks

The airhole wants to be right in front of the coil on any RBA boss. :)

Ok you threw a "boss" at me which means it was a stupid question. I get the vapor is produced at the coil/wick and if the airhole was on the other side it would have to travel around the tube but the difference in vapor production was night and day so I asked.

Thanks!

nope. i would have asked when i started but i happen to read someone saying the same thing.

Everyone who starts into RBA's will have questions. None of them are stupid. But, it you don't ask, you will have to figure it out yourself (like the more experienced at RBA's). I only wish I had of known about this site a few years ago and ask some vets and saved myself a lot of headache!!
We are all willing to help!

d3mon thanks

Not a stupid question bro (hope that doesn't have a secret meaning :) ) nor would I insult you for asking even if it was. I am not a man of hidden meaning.

My wife always gets on me for always jovially calling people something (boss, hoss, bud, big daddy, bro, just to name a few). Perhaps she's on to something?

If I wanted to insult someone, I got some words that are much better than boss :)

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask boss. To me boss is a friendly way of referring to somebody :)
