Yeah I haven't been around for a while so it's nice to see y'all again.

I've been content with my carto/Provari setup for quite a while, but I'm sick of cartos
being so unpredictable. So thanks to you enablers (yes I pop in to see what's new) I received
my MVP 3 Pro and my Sub tank this afternoon.
W O W :vapor:

Tons of vapor, flavor & no tight draws. It's too good to be true it seems.

I dunno, I'm still on cartos also but coils for clearo tanks don't seem much more reliable. And they go for $2.50 to $5.00 a pop.

I'm not paying that much for something with no return policy. I'd drive 10 miles to return a defective flyswatter, lol.

BUT, it's great ya found something to get excited about!!

How due you like the 3.0 pro I was on the fence between that and the ipv4s. Ended up with the ipv. Due to it uses 18650 rather then internal batteries But still thinking about getting the MVP. I like the idea of being able to charge my phone. When in a pinch.
I had an MPV a few years ago for a backup and it was a tank, it just took a beating. The 3.0 feels solid and has some heft. Its only been a few hours but it's been a game changer for me.

Yeah, I put away my cartos for good about a year ago. I'm now rebuilding exclusively. Last time I tried to set up a cartotank, I had 5 bad cartos in a row. I decided I'd had enough of them. When they work, they are fantastic; but QC leaves much to be desired.

I use a mech and RDA at 0.6 ohms, and also use my Provari P3 with a Kayfun Lite Plus (1.5 ohm).

You got lucky. I burned up my wicks and got one seriously nasty dry hit doing that exact thing. Couldn't get the nasty taste to go away so I had to chuck the coil. I only used it for 2 days [emoji22] such a waste.

Over 4 years, and I still have never had a carto dud. So what's this "unpredictable" you speak of?

I've never had a dud carto either and used them exclusively for a little over 2 years. Nearly all carto problems are from over-filling or under-filling, but people don't want to hear that. I've helped a few people who were oh-so-offended that I dared say that they under-filled their carto, that I had to take it apart in front of them. For the first few, it was, "Well, that one.." One person it was 15 cartos. All--every single one of them--was underfilled, built correctly, and fired just fine. The problem with cartos is the chasm of user error that comes along with not being able to see inside the chamber. If the transparent cartos weren't so visually unappealing, they'd probably be more popular.

The ONLY thing that would cause me to go back to smoking after being smoke free for two years, would be if the only thing we were allowed to vape... Carto Tank set ups. That's how much I dislike carto tank set ups. But I loved them for about a month or two... And like the OP, I discovered RDA, in that I found REO/RM2. That's when all my carto tanks got the boot ! I tried one again after being away from them for several months and it was incredibly worthless !!

I miss how much juice my carto tanks hold. I do not miss the tight draw and useing a tool to refill.

The only tool I've ever owned to refill a carto tank is my hand.

BTW, that "Liquinator" is one of the first carto tanks ever made, and it's sitting on top of an iStick 50 right now. So now you know the only problem with a carto tank. They last too damn long.

I admit to underfilling a few but the "thingy" that came from ibtanked made a difference. If you use cartos I highly recommend it.

I learned to rebuild over a year ago and now my motto is "If I can't build it...I don't vape it!" Now I mostly use Kayfuns and Protanks with rebuilt heads in them...Couldn't imagine spending money on replacement coils anymore.

I still enjoy my Ibtanked tanks from time to time. I was buying juice then at the time and a carto tank doesn't suck up the juice like my Kayfuns. I DIY now...would be expensive if I was still buying premixed juice.
