Ok so I am lost on here. There is so much information I have come back to this site about 5 times and gotten stuck researching for at least 2 hours each time. I had purchased the Vapor King months ago and ended up throwing it out for a few reasons. 1.) It leaked e-juice. 2.) I had a lot of trouble getting a good throat hit/a puff at all 3.)I had to order 6 atomizers because I thought that was why I wasn't getting a good hit. This was the 3 piece cigarette.

I am looking for a cigarette that looks like a cigarette, not like a pipe. I would like one that hits well and doesn't leak juice. I am lost. I have read reviews about the Darwin exploding and I'm nervous to purchase another e-cigarette after my last bad experience with the Vapor King.

Please give me as much detail as you can, battery type, two vs three piece cigarette, etc.

I would also appreciate that if people respond with a suggestion, they have used their e-cig for a while now and was not just recently purchased.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

If you want to start with a very easy set up that has 3.7v and prefilled(refillable)cartomizers go look at the KR808D 1.I get my 808 stuff at Vapor4life.I hated the dripping and leaking and inconsistancy of the 3pc ecigs.Once I got my V4L 808,I quit smoking and had no further issues.Even after I moved on to moded batteries I still continue to use V4L cartomizers because they are so much easier than attys.Just my advice on the easiest way to quit.

Try an XL manual, they are my favorite. They hit exellent and they last a long time.

V4L vapor4life is my top supplier..Been with them for about 9 months..I am pretty will settle in with them..I have a standard 808d1 standard batteries..As for a cigarette look and feel I also have a blu ecig now comes with 2 pc ,battery and cartomizer..Batteries are short and the carts can be reloaded with ejuice..

I vape with my 808 at home and driving and the blu when in public
so to not make it to obvious to others..

So you have the "Vapor King" from VaporKings? I think that is a clone 510

So try the other most recommended first ecig - KR808D-1 (like at LiteCigUSA.net or Vaporleaf.com and others) aka "VaporKing" at Vapor4Life.com or maxxFusion at BloogPlanet.com (totally different ecig from your Vapor King). And get standard length manual batteries. Manuals are less work and let you get a more consistent hit.

NOTE - the LED colors are random at Vapor4Life. if you want plain white with red light then buy it as KR808D-1 at one of the first two vendors I listed or elsewhere. I think those white ones should have red LED.

A comparison of a 510 (what you had I think) and a KR808D-1
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...st-electronic-cigarette-first-time-vaper.html

And note - I think KR8 is a bit thicker than 510. But its standard battery lasts longer than 510's standard battery (280mah vs 180mah)

And here is a guide (shows some more color Vapo4Life combinations) - explains the accessories and refilling
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/58027-vaporking-user-guide.html

I have been using one carto for 3 days by adding some juice whenever it seems a bit low (lower vapor etc)
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/58027-vaporking-user-guide.html

Note - as with any cartos, occasionally there are duds, so I recommend always bringing at leats one extra with you. Vapor4life has the best selection of prefilled cartos and a bunch of sampler packs with 5 flavors in each.

And if you're a heavy smoker of full strength cigs or need super long battery life then you may want to just skip slim e-cigs and get a fat-battery model like Ego or Riva 510, or Elegant Easy CigEasy. The fat battery models can use lower resistance parts for a bigger hit.

I actually threw out the Vapor King from electroniccigarettesinc.com. Ah, good call dormouse thank you, I didn't know that the KR808D-1 is the VaporKing.

First off, WELCOME to the ECF. I understand your confusion, as I too did hours of research when I got here. Then one day I found this link to a members site that explained everything I needed to know all in one place. The Wonderful World of Vaping | Vaping Guides I hope this helps you as much as it helped me. BTW, I ordered the Provape1 from ProVape Electronic Cigarette Battery Mods, Atomizers and E-Cigarette Accessories and could not have been happier.

Thank you Pupmaster! I found a lot of useful info on that site.

Hey kristinz84, I would have to say check out bloogplanet.com I just stopped smoking about 4 days ago and I was like you. I did my research on the forum and wanted a cigarette like device. I ordered the bloog fusion & they accidentally sent me the maxx fusion ultimate starter set. I have never smoked a e-cigarette before this product and it produces a fairly good amount of vapor. You get a decent hit and for me i quit a day after having it.

Congrats on not giving up and that your trying something else. You have gotten alot
of good suggestions for another model. My only suggestion is that you need to continue
to read, learn and then....learn some more.
There is alot to learn...and a few hours here will get you started, but more hours learning
will help elevate your overall experience in vaping. There is going to be a few bumps in
the road, and if you have knowledge, you will know how to handle them.
There are many videos on YouTube, for just about anything ecig. Try watching some of
those as well.
If you continue to read and learn, you will see that battery size if very critical in any
ecig. That's why alot of noobs have problems with the typical "look like a cig" models.
Just not enough size of the unit to offer a battery that will produce what you may
be looking for, in duplicating your smoking experience.
Hope all goes well for you and again, glad your here and getting some more knowledge.

I went with the Totally Wicked Tornado. I just ordered the Tank Kit and a bunch of accessories (batteries, atomizers, charge adapters, mega charger), but am completely satisfied with the base unit kit I purchased originally. The vape is thick and satisfying and the unit is just right for me. So far Black & Mild free since Sunday with no cravings or desire to purchase analog again.

The Joye 510 (which is compatible with the Tornado) seems to be extremely popular. I got my Tornado based on word of mouth recommendation and 2 weeks of research.
