so something like this might work:
Pyrex Vista Test Tubes - Tubes - Glass and Plasticware - Equipment & Supplies - Carolina Biological Supply Company
its a 10mm outside diameter. i haven't found anything about the inside diameter but it should be close depends how thick it is. as long as it fits inside the cover and fits over base you could perhaps use a different oring if needed....

Good find! A pack of 50 for $15? Am I reading that right? Get some stoppers and have different flavors ready to go.......back to work now.....

I posted how i solved the "S" wire problem in the Croatian forum. I thought it is a good idea to post the info here also:

I used two nuts and a hard wire from inside the connector of an ethernet card.

First, i put a cardboard washer (the ones that are used in the motherboards) to prvent a shortcircuit, then screwed one nut.
I bent the wire on one end forming an "o" shape, like this o----
then put the wire in the screw over the first nut, then the second nut.
As you can see the wire is bent over the second nut, it gives a better support and provides a "spring" effect against the brass bottom cap.

Sorry for my english.

Nice fix. Does the nut assembly stay in place when the positive screw gets turned? I don't know how thick that wire is but it would be a good idea to to put some heat shrink tubing on the lower part by the nuts as it looks like it is close to where the inner edge of the brass cap seats.

I haven't tryied yet, but i think it shouldn't be a problem because the wire is in the center hole of the bottom cap, it should prevent it to turn around when the positive screw gets turned, and i do not unscrew the positive screw too much when i connect the resistant wire, anyway it makes the life easier and with this i am not afraid to unscrew the bottom cap, that happened when i was using the "S" wire (i was :nun: to not provoke a shortcircuit)

The edge of the brass cap does not touch the wire because it gets pushed down when you screw the brass cap, separating the wire from the edge. The wire is not that thick, but is hard enough, i took it from an old ethernet connector card.

My fix was a single nut, and the s wire was soldered to the nut. that way ,the nut stay in place when the pos screw is turned.

Hi otrem, that is a great solution too.

I was tinking in doing like that, but i have not the tools to solder that little nut, how did you solder it? of what material is the nut you are using is made of? (i think the nuts i am using are made of brass).

I was thinking also it could work soldering the wire to a tiny washer and puting it between the two nuts, but i couldn't find a washer that tiny.

Well geuss who was playing with pyrex tonight :)
Yes I was bored and took some 5/8" pyrex and streched it to what I thought would be the correct ID.

Well unfortunantly the ID was a hair smaller than I needed and then I ran out of gas, so it is off to Lowes tomorrow for some more gas and I will try again.

But for the first attempt it does not look to bad!

Not too bad at all. Adding another new skill, looks like fun... a little hot, but who doesn't like playing with fire :)

Looks good Dan, I don't know how you could be precise with the measurement when you're heating and stretching Pyrex tubing. I'm mystified!

Today at work the mouth piece that came with the G-Tank got snagged and broke off flush with the SS and I tried to fit a 510 drip tip in the remaining part of 701 but the tip of the syringe tank wouldn't allow that so I was tail pipe vaping until I got home. Then I got out the SS tank which I had never used, washed it, filled it and put it on(man that thing is tight!) I enlarged the opening a little with my Dremel and stuck an old drip tip that got broken off in another work accident in there and it fit perfectly. The strange thing is with the SS tank the flavor is better and it's hitting better. Go figure...........
