What a beautiful view :D

Now you have the whole set.
Very nice looks and fits together perfectly

Simply magnificent. Beautiful design and totally maintainable. Only two years ago, we were 'dreaming' of such clean, low maintenance, self sufficient, reliable personal vaporizers. The creativity, talent, passion and collaboration on these forums is quite amazing.

All this rapid progression while we all share the amazing freedom of finally kicking the habit!!

Joining this forum will, without a doubt, be one of the most important decisions I have ever made, towards a healthy life.

Sturm should not have been kicked. His GTank and Raidy's Genisis wick have now given me total freedom. I am 100% self sufficient. I mix wonderful flavored juice only 20ml each time. Mixing Cappella flavour drops, like NY Cheesecake, banana split and peaches and cream. I have a 2 litre 48%MG nicotine liquid, 2 litre PG, I mix 50/50 to 24mg, add a bunch of drops, around 50-70. It tastes amazing, creates clouds of pleasant throat hitting vapor, glides through the genisis wick with minimal, slow developing crud buildup. People love stepping into my office. I vape all day. I work harder, I can concentrate without constantly craving a smoke. I enjoy and love the extra time it gives me. No more runs to grab some smokes. I now enjoy everything, nothing is ruined by cigarette cravings, what wonderful times we live in.

I really appreciate the effort you guys have put into these projects.

Pure genius.

Whoops ment to post this here, not in the GTUS thread! Dangit...

Ok got the M2 tap in today here is a pic of it in place:

Works like a charm, very solid connection! Seems to vape alot better.
I had to cut about a 1/16" off the M2 screw, but it works like a charm!
Dan

Beatiful solution Dan, that M2 Tap plus a ss bottom cap / connector would be a great upgrade to the G-Tank.

I agree he shouldn't have been kicked out. I sent several letters fighting and pleading with the mods trying to keep it from happening. Wish I would have had been more convincing...

He is a great member and asset to this forum!

Yeh J i too sent many letters to the mods. they even asked me to send a certain letter and no one even got backj to me with an answer. MWA and myself. STURM is a great guy and he is the one who made a great G Tank. my son was using the G Tank until that s wire wasnt conencting so waiting to buy that upgrade from Dan.

I'm having a bit of trouble with wicking issues, I use 40vg 60pg juice and am using 325 mesh. I'm using a paperclip to roll my mesh but I think the paperclip might be to thick, what is recommended to roll wicks?

Couple of things...

325 should wick juice that thin very quickly. It is best used for thicker juice.

Are you cutting the corner off of your wick? How far in to the tank is it going...cause if its too long...it can actually be working against you. You only really need about 1/4" of wick inside the tank.

I use a small thin paperclip when I roll mine. I just make sure it is tight on it, and the end will go through the cap.

My Sturm mod has arrived in California today. It is a thing of beauty and I am so happy to mount my G-Tank and Line on it.
Thank you so much Sturm!!!!

I have cut the corner off, and I am using a wick about 3cm long. I'm going to make another that is 2.5cm long and see how that works

Just did that just now, its wicking better but still getting dry hits. If someone can please PM sturm's build videos so I can reference them, I will appreciate it immensely :)

In my experience with the g-tank, the only reason you would get dry hits is if you are using the wrong mesh for your juice. Anything thick say more than 50% VG should be run through #325 mesh, thinner juice is OK with #400 but will give even more TH running #325.

Normally, I would agree with that. But with my Gtank, I was running 60%VG with 400 mesh without any issues. I would occasionally take a primer puff or two without firing to help get it started.

Mine is never dry, it's actually quite impressive in that respect. I could just have gotten lucky with the magic combo on the first try though ;). So far, with regular cleaning, I have not had to change a mesh or coil in mine and it has seen quite a bit of torture testing.

@Brazilleon.....can you show me the bottom switch assembly for Sturm Mod? I am having some problems with mine...Thanks..

There's not really much to show to be honest. A bolt is screwed into the white plastic ring. When it arrived, I had the Atty end bolt floating inside, so I screwed that into the plastic ring that is at the Atty end. The plastic ring became dislodged earlier, looks like it needs glueing again. But when the battery is in and everything is screwed up, it doesn't have anywhere to move, but something to keep an eye on.
Don't over tighten everything otherwise the button has no free movement and the Atty will continuously fire.
I just ordered some 14650 AW batteries since all my 14500 batteries are quite old now and I am so used to the power and lastabilty of my Darwin. So I am looking forward to them arriving.
But it has been working all day really well on a couple of 14500's.

Thanks Brazilleon and cyned.... No problem with atty end but I have problems with the switch end. I am using 14650 battery, the bottom switch usually got stuck and the battery is on all the time and it got very hot. If I loosen the switch by turning it, sometimes it come off. I suspect the problem is the spring...I have no GG mods to compare with....
