I bought an njoy several years ago .. I paid $120.00 .. was it a good choice .. no .. did I know any better .. no

Point is, if someone buys even a Mall kiosk unit and sticks with it, ends up doing some research and moves on to better hardware, in the process quiting the analogs .. is that not a good thing .. ??

Don't dis the player, dis the game ..

Absolutely agree with you.... I got my first kit at the mall kiosk.....did I pay way (way way way) to much for it? yes was it a POS little 510 that was done in a coupla days? yes do I regret my purchase? HELL NO! I wasted a coupla hundred dollars... ONCE... now I am here and happy to be here. Really, if I wouldnta bought that POS kit Id very more'n likely still be smoking two packs a day..... those crappy kits are meant to be sold to smokers...it is what it is.... after you turn from a smoker to a vaper you come here and get real information. If you are/were a smoker and happened to skip that first mall kiosk step, well thats hella good and more power to you, but for everyone else that needs that first hands on experience at the mall kiosk, well if it gets you off grits then it was worth it huh.

LOL.... dont playa hate...participate!

I lol'd at when you said they sell 5 dollar products for 50.

I think you meant to say they sell 5 dollar products for 150.

:p

Ya those mall guys get me everytime. I feel so bad when I watch someone check out with there new junk kit. I wish I could say something, but I'd rather not get in a fight with a trained salesman.

Why not? you think those salesmen get karate training with their sales pitch? }:)>

I agree totally. I didn't get burned at a mall kiosk...mine was at my local smoke shop. Bought a little cheap pen style for $59.99 and you think thats bad, I paid $19.99 for 15mls of juice with it. So needless to say I got ripped off too. BUT...like everyone else said it lead me here when I started researching when the thing quit working a week later. And all the great people here told me about LF's website and the 510 and haven't walked into the smoke shop since. For a ecig or real cig.

100% agree. Its not that there so over priced, its that they tell everyone that any other e cig isnt safe. I started with them and didn't want anything to do with anyone who told me Green Nicotine is crap. I was like "at least mines the only safe one". There spreading hurtful info. Thats not cool bro...

EXACTLY. and since these .......s are in at least 10-15 states, people hear them. and they further DEMONIZE the e-cig industry, and that's why the argument of "well, at least they spread the word about E-cigs" doesn't apply here; they BASH other e-cigs and are ruining the industry. somebody needs to sue these low lives for false advertising.

My start was with a unknown type of ecig that came in a pack that looked like a Marlboro pack. I picked it up at the local smoke shop. It cost 39.95 and was a piece of garbage. But It had potential. I went on line to find out more and the rest is vaping history. I still don't smoke and attribute my initial success to that little 3-piece ecig I paid 5 times too much for. As of now, I've probably spent the better part of a thousand dollars on e-cigs, juice and whatever. If someone back then had said to me that for 1000 dollars they would guarentee me that I'd quit cigarettes, I would have gladly paid it.

This a common practice within the sales area of any product .. slamming the competion has been going on since the first wheel was invented ..

Second wheel. Guy that made the first had no competition. Second guy came along and said, "his sucks. Buy mine. It's TWICE as circular!"

Yea... thats the way I figured it too... if someone told x amount of dollars and youll quit... Ida said hell yea. Incidentally I just say that the initial $369 that I spent at the kiosk was a stop smoking fee for me and my wife.

Do the people that now know about the real cost for E-cigs, and bought their over price kits at the mall, think they could open space in the Mall and rip people off themselves, I don't think so. If they could, I would not think they would be a very nice people. Why do you think that if you mention or show them a GOOD E-Cig they get so upset and don't want to know anything about your E-Cig? Its because the already know and want you to go away. And these people at the Mall Do know they are ripping people off. Competition is great but not at the expense of the uninformed just because they can, doesn't make it OK or right. As the word gets out about the E-cig industry they will be out of business, or to survive they will need to get real and sell reasonably products. I would love to have a mall shop sell carto's and E-juice and replacement part and etc. at a reasonable price, even if they are slightly higher because of the convenience, that would be great, maybe someday.

While I agree 100% that there are a lot of scams out there and I paid waaaaay to much at the mall kiosk it did get me to quit and led me to this forum in a way. Also they are not all complete slimeballs. The only misinformation I got from the guy I bought from was how long they would last. He never bad mouthed another brand or made any claims other than the equivalency and the cost which are all on the company's website so basically he was toeing the corporate line. I also got him to knock $15 off the kit and throw in an extra atty and 15 mil bottle of juice.

And honestly if smoke 51 stays in business and honors the warranty I have a lifetime supply of 510 auto batteries so I really can't complain too much about them yet and 5 weeks later both attys and both batteries are still kickin' strong. The carts are little better than drip tips (4 -5 drops at best) but my boge cartos fit just fine and are pumping out the vape as I type this.

Congrats Puffadder, for getting back on the wagon.

Thanks Demon :vapor::vapor: Couldn't happen fast enough for me. I was really concerned at first that my detour would turn into a derailment but I know if it happens again I'm cool! :vapor::vapor: I am still amazed by how easy it has been to switch to vaping. The only time I even have a slight craving is when I'm a bit lit but as one of my friends says "I think everyone (even ns's) want a cig when their drunk". :vapor::vapor:

Everytime I have restarted smoking after quiting it was after drinking...... Now that you got your juices (with your long shipping time) I hope you anticipate that for the future and dont get so low again..... I know I couldnt imagine waiting 3 weeks for an order to arrive.... with the exception of my Honneyville order }:-(> ....thatll end up at 3 weeks I think.

That anti bacterial tip buisness is pure hogswalup. They act as if your anodized aluminum non porus drip tip is going to grow Listeria on it or somthing. Dry cool non porus surfaces are by no means an efficiant culture medium for bacteria. Sure you could pass around a head cold with it I guess, as Im sure you could with there product. "Antibacterial' for most practical purpous is no more then a marketing buzz word.
yup I said hogswalup.

Ripping people off is a relative term though.... as long as those people are not lying to people, the price is based on what someone is willing to pay for it.
My mall people told me that each cartridge is the same as two packs or more of cigarettes and they were NOT refillable(and they are), you just by more cartridges, 25 dollars for a 5 pack. Is this anything like lying? I think so.
