Just got it in the mail today, charged up the batteries and sat down to try it out. At first it worked great, no issues using the atty it came with. Then it started to get a little spotty.
It would start to vape for a little, then seemingly stop, started, stopped. This progressively got worse up to a point where it stopped working all together. I had 5 other atty's from my original Prodigy so I started trying them out with no luck. There definitely seems to be a current running through, but as I lack a voltmeter I've only managed to test this by shocking my tongue repeatedly. Never had an issue with it managing to do that, yet it doesn't seem to want to vape with any atty.
Unfortunately I bought the v2 because I lost my V1, so I can't test the atty's otherwise... Any advice/tips? 801 using DSE801 atty's

don't get discouraged. my V2 has had MANY issues since i got it, but when i resolved them all it has slowly become my primary.

first issue, the rubber/latex ring on the mechanical switch. replace it with an O ring #60 from home depot, or like i did - took some sewing string and strung it around the button to make the shape of the O ring.
another thing i did to the button it pop out the connectors the metal ring touches and flip them around so that the round side is up, rather than the flat side.

doing those two steps has greatly improved the performance of my V2.

others have recommended using nolax or oxgard. i personally haven't taken these measures, but apparently they work too. the oxgard, i researched - it acts as an electrical conductor to fill in the small spaces where the ring and the posts aren't touching.

I don't for the life of me understand why you should pay for a NEW mod then have to make immediate repairs? I really feel bad for your experience. Contact puresmoker I'm sure will help take care of your problem. It's just disturbing to read the stories like this. Every mod out there has had some problem I'm sure. Best of luck and happy vaping.

Pull you're switch apart and check for any black plastic bits on any of the connection points. I had that happen a day or so after I got mine and I just scraped it off and was back to vaping. You're GOING to get tiny plastic shavings in there eventualy it's just part of the break in process. So don't forget to check for that here and there.

Bought a multimeter to test things further, the adapter is reading ~7volts when turned on.
I get really odd readings trying to gauge the resistance on the atomizers, anything between 3ohms and 4kohms, none of the atomizers work.
So, ideas?
4 of the atomizers I have list ~3ohms, and the one that jumps all over the place and seems to wind up around 4kohms is the one that works occasionally, although not very well.

I am waiting for Puresmoker to come up with a new switch. I am not going to work on my switch again. I lost pieces the last time. I have alot of PV's and this switch is the worst. I do not feel like I should have take it back and replace 0 rings etc. So my P2 is sitting in a drawer. I refuse to vape with something that hits and misses. This is my second switch which does not work right.
Maybe someday there will be a new switch which works.

The simple answer is no.
From reading your posts........
I don't think your atty is making good contact with your adapter.

Because if it was you would be able to Vap,
1. you have voltage from the V2
2. your atty's have good ohm's

Combine these two= Vaping

Something isn't making contact. I can't see through this computer so it's hard for me to help.

Power/Voltage/Current is pretty simple...........I don't think your getting power through the load(atty). So it a contact issue.

This is JMO.
