That's what pg does to me! Itchy hives, red irritated skin and horrible craterous breakouts. It took over a week of no pg and near over-doses of benedral to make me feel better. I was fine at first and after a while of vaping I noticed I was itchy and continued to get itchier by the minute. You might try velvet vapers completely pg free line, even the flavorings have no pg. I hope you figure your allergy out and feel better! :)

it's been over a month since the last update. *sigh*

Higbe33, an update for you....LOL

Tracy is still vaping, although now using 100% PG. She is still having a number of smokes each day, but far, far less than what she used to smoke. She has found it so much harder the second time around to completely give up the smokes, but hopefully that will happen soon.

With the 100% PG, there have been no reactions to speak of, which points to a couple of things. The VG was definitely giving a reaction. When she first went to the PG in an eGo-T she got a slight reaction. Went to a clearo and all symptoms disappeared, so that could have been the nickel in the atty causing the issue.

....yes...scary as life itself.....

...after all pages I realized that the thread is a very old one-but still very interesting.
I read in several e-smoker-forums in all Europe, and yes, there were people allergic to VG!!!-with the same symptoms!
In Tracys case her doc should have be able to diagnose it immediately.....dont really understand that point.
But anyway-I read also about many cases with such a problem in which their body was just "cleaning up" after quitt smoking-
a rush like a sunburn was the result.
Allergies are very fuzzy-you can eat tomatos for your lifetime, and suddenly one beautiful morning you are allergic to tomatos....my case!
...for many years.....and one beautyfull morning it was over...just like that.
They came up esp. in stressfull periods, where your body is a kind of "burned out"....not able to fight it (anymore), or has to fight against more serious matters. May be you dont even feel stressed out and/or there is no real reason to be stressed....the "subliminal" stress is the worth!
And therefore hard to dedect and to cure.....

I'll add to chelios experience, allergies can develop at any age. And, as we age many things in our bodies change and resistance is lowered. Just in a blink. Doesn't even need to be stress related, but stress can sure bring out some hives and many other reactions fast! I found out last year I am allergic to any and all pollen now! 45 years of loving life, flowers, grass, trees. Now I have to avoid outside, windows closed, if I go out have to take a shower and wash all clothes. Before I was only allergic to perfumes - guess that should have told me what was coming up next.

Glad the OP is doing better, and hope the allergies are all discovered and taken care of.
