I'm curious if there are many people who have had adverse reactions to increasing VG. I thought at first that it was watermelon flavoring that had given me a rash, but it appears it was VG. I had ordered my nic juice too strong and was diluting it by 1/3 with VG. I loved the extra thick vapor and the taste was still okay, but then I got a crazy red rash on my face, slightly itchy but not extreme, definitely not zits. The rash runs down both sides of my nose, on both cheeks, and slightly under my nose. I'm thinking maybe my pores are ex......g the VG. When I sleep at night my face clears up, so when I wake up in the morning it isn't real bad but returns progressively throughout the day. I stuck with 100% PG today and it didn't totally clear up but didn't get progressively worse either. It stayed the same as it was when I woke up in the morning.

It's too soon to tell for sure if it is definitely the VG, but this is my assumption for now. I don't have enough PG to mix any more 100% PG, so now I'm going to start using 80 PG/20 VG and see what happens. I would love to hear from others who might have experienced similar side effects or anyone who has input. I feel like vaping has been a constant worry over one thing or another. I've only smoked 3 cigarettes since I started vaping in October, but they were really looking like a decent alternative today. vaping is stressing me out.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing, but thought it was the PG as I hadn't had any juice w/VG at the time. Have been diluting with VG about 50-50 most of the time, seems to be helping some but still there. Then I started to suspect a certain flavor brand. Have stayed away from that one for awhile, still not sure. Or is it part of the detoxification of all the analog chemicals and eventually go away by itself? It's been a real puzzler!

I've tried several different creams on it to try & deal with it, but not finding one so far that really helps it.

For me I think it is certain flavorings. At about 3 months started having major itching episodes, switched to VG major improvement. But trying to find my new "all day" has led me to buying from many vendors and some all vg will cause this same thing and it is where the vapor hits my skin, contact dermatitis. When I wash face/hands and change the vape all is well and some VG juices or flavors kick off the itching again, although not as severe. After 2 months off pg tried to vape it again to make sure is was pg and went into an itch fest that Benedryl did not shake for hours. So.....look at everything you are doing and some may be quitting related to.

I've been suffering with blotchy face rashs too, but I think I've just figured it out....
If you have the least little bit of juice on your fingers, then touch your face, nose or forehead, you'll get all rash from the nicotine. Wash your hands after refilling your carts - or clean them with a baby wipe or towelette.
See if that helps. In the meantime, use a natural lotion w/aloe vera on those trouble spots.
