The green thing is a Vamo.. red and black are plastic Bolts and the silver thing is a GG China Clone Mechanical mod
The wife has a Vamo (rainbow wrapped), a purple plastic Bolt, an eVic and an eGo-T Upgrade mod (2 more eGo upgrade mods are in the bin for salvage)...

The problem is this, when you go to a vendor site, they really don't tell you everything you need to know about that battery. I don't know if it's 510 or ego threaded. I know so little about it. I have been reading here on the forum but it's like a goose chase trying to find something on here that tells a lot about it. Just mostly peoples opinions about it. Trust me 'search' is not my friend on here lol. We never seem to agree on anything, it just takes me where it wants me to go and I learn nothing.
it's easier to do a google search then a ecf search

The VAMO has 510 threads. Vision/Starburst clearos dont work (blocks the air due to deep drip well) but you can get an adaptor for a couple bucks.

VAMO costs like 40 and you can get decent batts for 10 (18650) I think chargers run as low as 15 but go up from there.

I like the Spinner cause I don't have to buy batteries for it, it comes built in lol. I know that the bigger, more expensive batteries eg: Provari, Vamo have to have batteries in them, but also I hear such great things about them.

To me changeable batteries is a plus. If a battery dies would you rather buy some semi-cheap replacements or a whole new device?

I do believe 510 = eGo threading. But now of course I'm second guessing myself
If I'm wrong, it will be corrected soon, I'm sure ;)

510 is not equal to eGo. The eGo batteries have both type threads. If a device requires eGo threads, that means it screws on using the threads that are on the outside of the connector. The 510 device would screw on using the threads that are on the inside of the connector.

Lamarkk is correct. You'd need this:

AltSmoke even has the spinner in a rainbow scheme, they are rebranded for AltSmoke, but are still the spinner you know and love. My VAMO has performed flawlessly for over four months now, and the Sig Zmax is another great lower cost device. As for the batteries, just make sure you use IMR high drain batteries, many swear by AW, I have had good luck with EFest. Spinner, VAMO, Sig Zmax, I have them all and like them all, you couldn't go wrong getting another spinner, at least you know it and are comfortable with it. Of course if you can afford it and plan on vaping for the long haul, Provari is highly regarded.

Commentary: It seems like a lot of things you need to know, but it's really not that hard to get a grip on. Take your time making a decision and you won't regret it.

There are a lot of people that are perfectly happy using eGo type devices and never move up. Others want more power or longer battery life or this or that. No real 'wrong' answer to be had.

As for me, I bought an 808 kit. Cut my smoking in about half without trying or denying myself a cig if I wanted one. It was good, but battery life still wasn't what I needed it to be.

Bought a dual-battery eGo Twist kit. Was much more satisfied with the vape and juice storage, was simple and light. Cut my smoking by 80%+. I was quite satisfied until I broke one of them on a weekend trip and realized just how fragile they are. The remaining battery I have is my current backup.

Upgraded to a VAMO and haven't really looked back since. I get long battery life, it's pretty sturdy and provides a very customizable vape. I'll probably get a ProVari later on down the track just to have one, as well.

I dsont think so, my eGo-T 18650 MOD battery came with a 510 to ego adapter, so my guess is that 510 thread is he inside thread (Like a vivi nova uses) and Ego thread is on the outside (Kanger T-3 / MT-3 Tank uses)

I don't have a vamo either Sexy, we are strangers on a strange world lol. I do have the OMGVV from V4L which is pretty similar. I like the swappable batteries though. It lets you vape while one is charging and never run out, but its important to like your gear if you go this way since it might be what you carry all the time.
I do think the Vamo is a great device though. I've heard a lot of good things, enough to want one since it does a few things that my current VV does not. Though I did not know I would need an adapter for my VIvi Novas (I think they are from vision) where would I get one?

^^^ what lamarrk said. The ego threading is the big thread on the outside/510 are small threads on the inside.

Yup, knew I'd be corrected. :)
And I just learned something new. So if I wanted the Kanger T-3, I would need an adapter for my Provari? Not that I'm going to 'cause I like what I'm currently using, just wanted to clarify it in my head.
Which would mean the pro thingy ( ;) ) is a 510 threaded device... Got it now. eGo threading is the outside threads, 510 are the skinny part threads.
