Was my 2 year anniversary since I quit smoking. Unlike with one year, this one doesn't have that same feel of accomplishment.... Always take a look back at the time that was in-between milestones.

A lot has changed in the past year, and some has stayed the same. Since my last vapiversary have become an admin on the forum, have made new friends, and seen quite a few old ones move away from the forums for many reasons (especially here on ecf). Seen vaping technology improve yet again, and with it the scene has been changed for both vendors and users alike. Companies that would have never carried a mod or ego of any sort now have to in order to keep up, and almost every vaper I know has experienced variable-voltage in some way. I've changed a lot. There was a time I was the off topic king. Would love extending a thread with an organic conversation. Even up to the one year mark was still around 60/40 on topic/off topic. Very rarely can I go OT anymore it seems (at least on the forums). It's something I truly miss doing, and maybe one day will go back to it... Had the pleasure of talking to quite a few of the great people here on the phone, and quite a few more on skype when I get the time to go on there (which seems to be never lately).

Hopefully by the new year everything at my 8-? job will be calmed down again and will actually be able to do more in the vaping world next year. Have quite a few things in the works for the future, don't want to get too much in detail until everything has been finalized, but looking forward to it. The worst thing anyone can do is stand still....

A very big thank you to all the great people who have been there for me over the past two years. A lot of my vaping success has to do with the friendships I've made through ecf and the V4L forum, without probably would have gone back to smoking a long time ago. Not going to name names because would awful if I left anyone out.

Congrats on two years! I know with me vape anniversaries don't feel that big of a deal to me because I actually have no desire to go back to smoking... for me vape is where it's at! But it really is a big deal, because if I weren't vaping I know in my heart I would still be puffing away on the nasty sticks! So celebrate! Vaping is so much better and I don't stink up the place any more! lol

Friend Morandir, I congratulate you on another great milestone, which in my mind is as important as the first since you're successfully cementing everything in place. While the first may feel the best for us, it's the passing years that mark the strength and durability of our achievement, IMHO. Reminds me of marriage in a way.

While I've limited my involvement to several forums in recent years, I can think of just a handful of folks in each one who offer leadership and guidance in ways that both inspire me and make me question my own pitiful contributions. Without any doubt, you're one of the few, Morandir.

And I understand your desire for more organic discussions. Since I feel closest to you and others at V4L's sub-forum (my early cig-quit period produced the strongest connections for me), I've often wished that we could more easily discuss vaping issues here that move beyond V4L. I understand that such discussions are possible elsewhere at ECF or beyond, but I like and trust the folks here. Morandir, if you ever start a more 'open' thread somewhere, not tied to any particular interest beyond vaping itself, please sign me up.

For all you've done and continue to do, you're a sun among stars. Thank you, monsieur. My heartiest congrats to you and best wishes for the year ahead.

Wanted to say thank you again everyone. Very humbling to see praise from some of the truly great people here on ecf. If wasn't for your friendship would not have made it this far with vaping. Every contribution I make is to give back to all those who have meant so much to me.

Jeffree sir you have left me lost for words... It is truly an honor to be your friend.

Morandir, if I wasn't posting from my phone I'd present you with some great big gif..... But I hope that a hearty congratulations will do. You are the best! I learned a long time ago that your vaping data and advice is invaluable......not to mention some pretty amusing posts. May this be only second of many more.
