SO you wanna do your own.

ok Two batches of DIY snuff and many more coming, some for my own use some maybe on a limited run.

So gather your tools.
Gloves, eye protection, mask maybe depends on how much dust you are willing to breathe.
Grinder a decent blade grinder will do ok but not a smooth grind rougher more like molens. I use a braun that is rock solid.
Mortor and pestal, optional depending on grind quality.
Spices. I know it sounds weird but fresh ground cinnamon and a clove bud goes a long long way I try and stay as natural as possible.
tobacco RYO left over tobacco can work in a pinch or while leaf N.rustica.
Essental oils.

pretty much that is all there is to it.
Drying grinding is up to your own preferences.

I add oils and mix slowly at the same time and let the tobacco dry.. Have fun!

O)K the optional mortar and pestal is not optional... IT is needed to get the smooth silky fine grind texture.

I added a few more flavor notes to the next.

So the blade grinder does an ok job the mortar is a great finishing tool and good smooth stone one it can be used for other things.

Extracts get absorbed and the alcohol is not left behind.

Hmm C I doubt it for the UK crew since some mighty fine makers are still grinding and producing. I do not see the Brits closing centuries old companies down for the hell of it.

SO received my N rustica bag o doom!!

If you all have not had the pleasure of getting these demons in leaf form lemme just say this.... GO EASY!! these brown beasties will bite a chunk of .... off you and laugh about it.

So 24 hours from grind to now.
The leaf retains a bunch of moisture, been airing out smelling my room of choco tobacco goodness.
I reground twice sifted and mortared x4 and sifted still a bit lumpy and dark rich and moist. The spicing took a back seat to the chocolate not milk choco but dark spiced choco.

Tomorrow is the baked day at 150ish for a chunk of time to see the drying effect before I spend money on a dehydrator.
