My girlfriend is soaking a nautilus BVC in soapy (antibacteria) water. I told her I didn't think it was a good idea for health reasons and I offered to soak it in Everclear but she wants to try it. Says she will rinse and dry real good which I have no doubt.

I would like to know what anyone thinks or knows about this from a health standpoint, please. Your comments will be appreciated.

We are not interested in rebuilding anything even if it's the easiest thing to learn, will only take 30 seconds once we get used to it, fogs more than a KISS concert and has the best flavor since porterhouse steak over a open flame. This includes heads, rda's, rba's etc. etc. etc.

Thank you.

Wow! Thanks for the comments and quick too! Thanks for not telling me to get a Kayfun! lol

I never thought of the taste aspect...

I read these comments back to her but she's going to try after soaking in water and drying.

I WILL be sure to reply with results.

Good luck! When I got my first Nautilus, I very soon broke the glass tank so got a metal one to replace it. The metal one tasted....very metallic, so like a dummy, I washed it with soap and water. Ugh! Then it tasted like soap! I ended up soaking it in vodka to get the taste out, which I should have done in the first place. I now have a bottle of everclear for cleaning coils and tanks with a taste problem!
